Day 1: UK to Venice, Italy
Fly from selected UK airports to Venice and be transferred to the port to board Crystal Serenity.
Day 2: Venice, Italy
Explore beautiful Venice on Italy's north-east coast. This city built on water is a popular tourist destination due to its gondola rides, delicious cuisine and stunning Gothic architecture. A maze of winding canals, you can sail up the Grand Canal to visit the stunning Palazzo Ducale and Basilica di San Marco. See works of arts from Bellini and Titian at Gallerie dell Accademia, then head to Scuola Grande di San Rocco to see the intricate and captivating way Tintoretto depicts Old and New Testament scenes. Many canal-side bars host live music that you can enjoy as you dine on fresh seafood dishes and prosecco. Make sure to try Venetian cicheti — similar to tapas — which include dishes such as soft salami and smoked swordfish.
Day 3: Kotor, Montenegro
Kotor is based on the Adriatic coastline in south-west Montenegro. One of the country's prettiest and most-famous towns, Kotor is an UNESCO World Heritage site and offers a range of historic landmarks and natural beauty spots. The old town district is filled with medieval architecture and monuments — as well as one of the narrowest streets in the world! From its Venetian-style gates to its former Austrian prisons, Kotor's past is kept alive for you to explore. Wander around the range of shops, and head to a bar or restaurant at a piazza to admire views of the mountains.
Day 4: Corfu, Greece
The island of Corfu sits off the north coast of Greece in the Ionian Sea. Surrounded by rugged mountains and lined with golden beach resorts, it's a cosmopolitan island with a strong, traditional character. Corfu has long been a hugely popular holiday destination due to its laid-back atmosphere, fun beaches, fantastic climate, and welcoming villages. Its old town is filled with Byzantine churches, Venetian fortresses and French-style houses. Spend time relaxing on the sand or enjoying water sports in the sea, before sampling the island's delicious cuisine — often a tasty blend of Greek and Italian — at a beachfront restaurant. The waterfront is lined with bars and cafes, and there are plenty of craft markets for buying souvenirs.
Day 5: Dubrovnik, Croatia
The Croatian city of Dubrovnik sits on the country's southern coast on the Adriatic Sea. Explore the city centre — an UNESCO World Heritage site — with its 17th-century Cathedral of the Assumption and Rector's Palace, before walking around the ancient city walls. Admire the views as you ride the cable car to Mt Srd or visit one of the city's museums. Relax in the sunshine on Banje Beach; enjoy a boat trip to the nearby islands of Lokrum and Elafiti; and view the city from the water on a kayaking trip or take a snorkelling tour.
Day 6: Split, Croatia
Split, on Croatia's Dalmatian Coast, is the country's second-largest city. It's popular for its golden beaches and bustling centre — which was built around the fourth-century Diocletian's Palace. Today, the palace remains a central part of Split's heritage after its transformation into a variety of houses, flats, churches, and chapels. Stroll through the centre to admire the towering Cathedral of Saint Domnius with its 13th-century oak doors that tell the story of Christ. The Riva waterfront promenade runs the length of the old town and is the perfect place to stop for lunch. See cascading waterfalls at Krka National Park or relax and snorkel on the beach of Brac Island before departing.
Day 7: Koper, Slovenia
Situated along a wide horseshoe-shaped bay, Koper's medieval town allows you to lose yourself in its maze of streets while passing historical sights and browsing chic shops along the way. Visit Postonja caves and explore the mysterious world of underground caves and echoing passages. Admire Old Koper, with its stunning architecture and elegant squares. Explore the winding lanes of the picturesque town of Piran, or venture to the capital and journey back in time at the National Museum of Slovenia.
