Day 2: Boston, Massachusetts
Arrive in Boston, Massachusetts' capital and largest city. Tour the city in a World War II vehicle on the world-famous Boston Duck Tour, travelling the city's streets before sailing along the Charles River. Visit Fenway Park — home of the Boston Red Sox baseball team — or climb the 294 steps to the top of the Bunker Hill Monument to enjoy some of the best views of the city. Take a stroll through Boston Public Garden and Boston Common, before stopping for a beer nearby at the Cheers Bar of TV fame.
Day 3: Boston, Massachusetts (Embarkation Day)
After check out make your way to the port to board Brilliance of the Seas for your seven-night Canadian cruise.
Day 4: Portland, Maine
The city of Portland sits on a peninsula extending out into Casco Bay in the USA state of Maine. Meander through the working fishing wharves and restaurant and shop-filled converted warehouses at the Old Port waterfront. Walk up to the Western Promenade cliff-top park to enjoy the far-reaching vistas; before exploring the Victorian-style homes and Victoria Museum in the nearby West End district. Admire the flora and fauna at Coastal Maine Botanical Gardens or enjoy family-friendly fun at Funtown Splashtown or Palace Playland. Enjoy a spot of culture at Ogunquit Museum of American Art, Museums of Old York, Portland Museum of Art, and Children's Museum of Maine. No visit to Portland would be complete without visiting its most famous lighthouse, Portland Head Light, which still guides ships into Portland Harbour today.
Day 5: Bar Harbor, Maine
The quintessential New England coastal town of Bar Harbour is located on Mount Desert Island. Explore the charming and picturesque town streets with their plentiful boutiques and heritage houses; before stopping to admire the Tiffany stained glass windows of St Saviours Church and also the clock and bandstand on the Village Green. Step aboard one of the free Island Explorer buses that travel via the famous Park Loop Road to the magnificent Acadia National Park - where you can admire towering Cadillac Mountain and take a hike or horse-and-carriage ride alongside the park's stunning lakes and coastline. Gaze in awe at the stunning scenery on a relaxing boat trip around Frenchman Bay and the Porcupine Islands.
Day 6: St John's, New Brunswick
St. John's is the capital city of the Newfoundland and Labrador province and sits off Canada's Atlantic coastline. Explore local culture and history at The Rooms - the Provincial Museum, Provincial Archives, and the Art Gallery of Newfoundland and Labrador. Discover Earth's geological makeup using interactive exhibits at Johnson GEO Centre or stroll along Water Street — one of the oldest streets in North America. Admire panoramic views from Signal Hill National Historic Site or visit old Cape Spear Lighthouse at Cape Spear. Explore the unique fishing village of Quidi Vidi Village, home to the Mallard Cottage national historic site and Quidi Vidi Inn of Olde. Journey by boat past Bay Bulls to view the puffins and seabirds on Puffin Island.
Day 8: Halifax, Nova Scotia
Found on the Atlantic Ocean coast, Halifax is the provincial capital of Nova Scotia and is home to one of the world's largest natural harbours. The heart of Canada's east coast arts scene, you can explore a variety of galleries and museums to find everything from folk art to relics of the Mi'kmaq people! Visit Fisherman's Cove — a 200-year-old restored village — and stroll around a traditional farmers' market to find tasty, local food and drink. Learn about the city's heritage at the Maritime Museum of the Atlantic or stroll the pretty displays at Halifax Public Gardens.
Day 10: Boston, Massachusetts to UK
Today your cruise comes to an end. Disembark and make your way back to the airport for your return flight back to the UK.
