Dining on Black Watch is an experience to be savoured. The Glentanar Restaurant is the ship's main venue featuring fresh meals, exquisite cuisines and spectacular sea views. There's also The Orchid Room, which offers a Far East decor and delicious gourmet dishes. For a more casual setting, The Garden Cafe serves an internationally-inspired buffet and tasty lunchtime snacks. Try The Grill for breakfast, lunch or dinner. Here, you have a tempting choice of omelette, shrimp salad, beef and onion pie, beefburger, BLT, fruit salad, and blueberry cheesecake during the day. Or for dinner, there's pasta, grilled seafood, prime-cut steak, and pannacotta. The coffee and chocolate cafe offers a selection of lattes, espressos, cappuccinos, Irish coffees, teas, pralines, fondant chocolates, and champagne truffles.

Drink
From hot lattes to cold cocktails, there's a favourite tipple for everyone on Black Watch. Morning Light Pub is decorated in the style of a traditional British pub with a unique Scandinavian twist - perfect for socialising with a beer, wine or spirit. The Observatory offers panoramic views to enjoy while you sip a nightcap, as well as an entertaining pianist. Head to Marquee Bar for refreshments by the swimming pool, or Lido Lounge for late-night exotic cocktails, refreshing beers, and tasty wines. Neptune Lounge serves a fantastic menu of beverages complemented perfectly by dazzling live acts. There's also Braemar Lounge for comfy armchairs and a stylish cocktail bar.

Entertainment
There's always an activity to enjoy aboard Black Watch. You have yoga, toning and Pilates classes, as well as aerobics sessions and dancing lessons at the fitness centre. Improve your skill at the black jack sessions, take a swing at the golf nets, and play a game on the tennis courts too. In the evening, the lively Neptune Lounge offers music, comedians, cabret acts, bright lights, and great costumes. You can also dance the night away to great orchestra music here. Head to Braemar Lounge or The Observatory for piano music; Marina Theatre for late-night films; and Morning Light Pub for live entertainment. Day 3: La Coruna, Spain
La Coruña overlooks the Bay of Coruña in the north-west corner of Spain. Step ashore and visit the Tower of Hercules, Castillo de San Anton, and Castillo de San Diego. Explore the Roman wall, historical buildings and the medieval Church of Santiago in Ciudad Vieja. Get a culture hit at the Museum of Sacred Art, Archaeological Museum and Military Museum. People-watch at La Marina and Plaza Maria Pita, or relax on the Playa Riazor and Playa del Orzan beaches. Enjoy some family fun at Aquarium Finisterrae, Science Museum and Domus — an interactive museum. Venture further afield to visit the UNESCO World Heritage sites of Santiago de Compostela, Betanzos and Ferrol.

Day 6: Funchal, Madeira
It is very easy to see why Madeira has gained the name of 'The Garden Island'. Lush greenery with an array of tropical fruits, this island is a favourite on many cruise itineraries. Take gondola ride to the mountain village of Monte to experience some of the most breathtaking views of the island, then take the thrilling way down on a local toboggan, winding and bending over the cobbles; this is something you won’t want to miss. For wine lovers, venture out into the vineyards and experience some of the famous wine of the region.

Day 9: Mindelo, Cape Verde
Mindelo is a port city on Sao Vicente - part of the Cape Verde archipelago - known for its music, nightlife and lively carnival celebrations. Head to the top of the island’s towering mountain and make sure to have your camera ready to capture the breath-taking views. Visit the sweeping sandy beaches that sit at the foot of the rugged mountains, and gaze in awe at crystal blue waters dotted with colourful fishing boats. Take a drive through the island’s fantastic landscapes, volcanic valleys and bustling city to discover the colourful life and culture of the islanders of Cape Verde.
Day 10: Praia, Cape Verde
Praia sits on the south coast of Santiago Island and is the capital city of Cape Verde. Spend time exploring Praca Alexandra de Albuquerque and the colonial buildings in the old town centre - known locally as the 'Plateau' thanks to its elevated position overlooking the Atlantic Ocean. Visit the Archada de Santo Antonia quarter to admire Nossa Senhora de Graca, Museo Ethnographico, and the presidential palace; and also indulge in retail therapy and taste local cuisine. Stop by Mercado de Sucupira in the Varzea area to shop for traditional handicrafts, clothing, and African fabrics. Relax, swim, and sunbathe to your heart's content on either Quebra Canela or Praia Prainha beaches at the Prainha district alongside the bay.

Day 13: Santa Cruz de Tenerife
Santa Cruz de Tenerife is one of the island's best kept secrets. Santa Cruz De Tenerife, known locally as Santa Cruz, is a bustling centre of culture and activity. Visit the Museum of Man and Nature and discover the evolution of the Canary Islands. Alternatively, head to the award-winning Loro Parque wildlife park and come face-to-face with amazing animals and exotic birds. Head down to the Downtown Santa Cruz shopping district and enjoy a superb range of shops and tapas bars. Soak up the sun on the golden sands of La Teresitas beach or hike around the surrounding mountains and savour the picturesque views.
Day 14: Arrecife, Lanzarote
Today the ship drops anchor at Arrecife on the Canarian island of Lanzarote. Two splendid castles form the backdrop to the harbour - the 15th-century Castillo San Gabriel and 17th-century Castillo San Jose. The beautiful golden sands of Playa de Reducto are the perfect place to spend a few hours sunbathing. Venture inland to explore the lunar landscapes of Timanfaya National Park's fire mountains, Cesar Manrique's unique Jardin de Cactus on the outskirts of Guatiza, and Jameos Del Agua cave.
Day 15: At Sea
Day 16: Lisbon, Portugal
Spread across seven hills on the shores of River Tagus is Portugal's capital city, Lisbon. Pavement cafes, bustling squares and serene gardens sit alongside palaces, bridges and castles in this waterside city. Immerse yourself in culture at Calouste Gulbenkian Museum and National Museum of Contemporary Art, or enjoy the colourful marine life at Oceanarium. Take a vintage tram ride through the city's cobbled streets, admiring Jerónimos Monastery and Belém Tower on the way. Haggle for bargains at the lively Thieves Market, or explore designer shops on Rua do Carmo, Rua Garrett and Avenida da Liberdade. Venture further afield and discover the fairytale places and ornate villas in Sintra or go dolphin-watching in Setúbal.
