Sapphire Princess sailed into the Princess Cruises Fleet in 2004 as the twin sister ship to Diamond Princess. Sapphire Princess brings together a range of facilities for a wide range of cruisers, including family holidays, couples and luxury cruising. She can often be found cruising the exotic waters around the coasts of Asia, keeping full steam ahead with the Princess Cruises flare for perfection, whilst bringing together some of the best facilities from across the fleet.
Receiving a full refurbishment in 2012 only reinforced and developed her appeal within the fleet, with the addition of a number of new facilities that have been established on the newer ships such as Movies Under The Stars and the adult only area The Sanctuary. Sapphire Princess has a quintessential charm that offers a desired mixture of the old and the new that is rarely seen on ships anymore, and it is this that will keep you coming back for more.

The Crown Grill is the place to be at sea to receive tender succulent steaks cooked just how you like them, being awarded 'Best Cruise Ship Steakhouse' by USA today. Not only does this restaurant cook your favourite steak, try some of the fantastic seafood on offer here, from a wide range of grilled fish, to whole lobster. Take a look and be wowed by the quality.
Whether it's a quiet place to relax or a nightclub to party into the early hours you're looking for, you will surely find that special place on Sapphire Princess. Take some time and relax over some exquisite wine conversing with new and old friends in one of the many lounge bar areas such as Wheelhouse Bar or Crooners Bar or even relax with a fine brandy in Churchill's Lounge whilst watching some of the latest sporting events. For the young, and young at heart, head up to the top deck where you can find Skywalkers Nightclub, a place where you can let loose and dance the night away.
If you haven't been enticed into one or more of the bars on ship then why not head down to the theatre? Have a seat an enjoy some Broadway style productions with a nice glass of wine, or head up onto top deck with a warm blanket and watch Movies Under The Stars in the outdoor theatre. Or try your luck on the roulette under the bright lights and electric atmosphere of the Asian themed Grand Casino, and then afterwards take in a more intimate performance in Crooners Lounge, showcasing stand up comedy and some of the best singers at sea.
