Day 5: Monterey, California

The city is well known for the diversity of its marine life, including sea lions, sea otters, harbour seals, pelicans and dolphins, and the Monterey Aquarium is a top attraction. The beaches in Monterey are spectacular; soak up the sun on Pebble Beach and enjoy the tranquil beauty of Carmel Beach. On a visit to Cannery Row you can expect enticing restaurants and captivating boutiques; the street’s picturesque charm makes it the ideal place to soak up the local culture.
Day 7: San Diego, California
San Diego, otherwise known as 'America's Finest City', is a great place to relax year-round due to its laid-back vibe, great weather, miles of sandy beaches, and major tourist hotspots. San Diego bursts with world-famous attractions for the entire family: head to Balboa Park, where you'll find San Diego Zoo with over 3,000 animals, 15 museums, and picturesque gardens where you can enjoy the sunshine. Visit SeaWorld and be amazed by spectacular shows and rides, or head to LEGOLAND for hours of fun. Day 8: Ensenada, Mexico
Ensenada is a picturesque seaside town on the Baja California coast and is surrounded by small mountain ranges. The town is a shopper’s paradise, especially along Paseo Calle Primera and Avenida Lopez Mateos with its locally-made silver jewellery and pottery. The Malecon path down by the harbour is the perfect spot to sample fine seafood from the authentic restaurants. Explore the fascinating exhibits at Museo de Historia de Ensenada in Riviera del Pacifico and also at Museo del Instituto Nacional de Antropologia e Historia. Visit La Bufadora marine geyser at Punta Banda that rises more than 30m above sea level.
Day 9: Los Angeles, California to UK
