Day 2: Rio de Janiero, Brazil
Step ashore in the vibrant and exciting seaside city of Rio de Janeiro. Mention Rio and the first things that come to mind are the 38-metre high Christ the Redeemer statue atop Mount Corcovado, Sugar Loaf Mountain, and the famous carnival. Spend time on the famous Copacabana and Ipanema beaches or visit Chilean-born artist Jorge Selaron's fascinating Escadaria Selaron stairway. Pay a call to the sculptures and art-adorned pavilions at Passeio Publico then continue on to Parque do Flamengo and the nearby Museum of Modern Art. The ancient Nossa Senhora de Campo church and Sao Bento church and monastery contrast with the modern-day Catedral de Sao Sebastiao. Explore the atmospheric Santa Teresa district or discover the exhibits at the National Museum at Quinta da Boa Vista. Take a boat trip over to Ilha de Paqueta to view the sights from the comfort of a horse-drawn carriage.

Day 4: Ilhabela, Brazil
Ilhabela sits on an archipelago in the Atlantic Ocean, 6km off the coast of Brazil's Sao Paulo state. This place is famous for the 40km of gorgeous white beaches that line its shoreline, perfect for a few hours sunbathing while sipping a traditional caipirinha cocktail. The offshore crystal clear waters are full of pirate shipwrecks and a popular choice with divers. You can also discover abundant hiking trails and waterfalls such as Cachoeira de Tros Trombos and Trilha da Agua Branca in the surrounding UNESCO-listed Parque Estadual de Ilhabela biosphere.
Day 6: Punta Del Este, Uruguay
Spend today enjoying the picturesque and elegant beach resort of Punta del Este set on a peninsula in southeast Uruguay. Walk around the marina and stop for a coffee overlooking the water and yachts. Spend time at Brava Beach to watch the surfers tackling the strong waves and admire La Mano en la Arena (The Hand) giant sculpture. Shop for local handicrafts at Plaza Artigas and window-shop at the luxury boutiques on nearby Avenida Gorlero. Visit Uruguayan artist Carlos Paez Vilaro's villa and art gallery at Casapueblo or stroll to the 19th-century lighthouse at the southern tip of the peninsula for amazing vistas. Take a trip to see the colony of sea lions and seals at Sea Wolves Island or explore the 18th-century city of Maldonado.
Day 7 - 8: Buenos Aires, Argentina
Buenos Aires is Argentina's big, cosmopolitan capital city lined with a plethora of 19th-century buildings. The neighbourhood of La Boca is a popular place to explore; while Caminito offers steakhouses, brightly-painted zinc shacks, and the modern art museum Fundacion Proas. The iconic pink-coloured palace Casa Rosada is the office of the President of Argentina and is a great chance for photos. La Recoleta Cemetery is a statue-rich cemetery featuring eye-catching mausoleums and 18th-century characteristics. The city square of Argentina, Plaza de Mayo, was named after the 1810 revolution which led to Argentina's independence; here you can discover intriguing museums such as Museo Casa Rosada, Museo de la Cuidad, and the Maritime Museum.
Day 11: Rio de Janiero, Brazil to UK
Today your cruise comes to an end. Disembark and make your way to the airport for your flight back to the UK.
