Discover the city of Haugesund, at the point where the fjords flow into the North Sea in the southwest of Norway. Haugesund is famed as 'Norway's Birthplace' and boasts a proud Viking heritage, brought to life at Avaldsnes' Nordvegen History Centre on the nearby island of Karmoy.
