Overview Itinerary
The Ship
MSC Lirica sailed into the MSC Cruises' fleet in 2002. This elegant Lirica-Class ship is sister ship to MSC Opera, MSC Sinfonia, and MSC Armonia and cruises to destinations near and far with a maximum of 1560 passengers on board. Her nine passenger decks are lined with luxury cabins and suites, six restaurants and eleven bars, a casino, a serene spa, two swimming pools and two Jacuzzis, baby to teen age-specific clubs, and a myriad of daytime activities and evening entertainment. MSC Lirica drops anchor most mornings at a fascinating itinerary of ports of call where you can explore independently or join an organised excursion.

Food
L'Ippocampo and La Bussola are the ship's two main dining rooms; both offer open seating at breakfast and lunch, an early or late sitting for dinner, and a menu of Italian and international culinary delights. Savour Italian-style pizzas from the oven and burgers, hot dogs, and kebabs straight from the grill in La Pergola. Visit the casual surrounds of Le Bistrot for serve-yourself dishes from around the world, afternoon tea, and light bites. Dine on Japanese specialities in Kaito Sushi Bar or feast on oriental fusion delights in Jia Kao.

Drink
There's a variety of places to relax with a drink on MSC Lirica. Unwind with a cup of coffee, pastry, and a good book in The Coffee Corner. Sip an ice-cold drink or treat yourself to ice cream at the poolside La Canzone del Mare. Take your seat in The Beverly Hills Bar or L'Atmosphere Piano for ambient music and cocktails. Discover video music and sports events on screen as you enjoy a glass of beer or two in the English-style Lord Nelson Pub.

Entertainment
During days afloat, escape to the tranquil Top 13 Exclusive Solarium or pamper your mind and body with a hot stone massage at MSC Aurea Spa. Get active with a round of golf at the mini golf course or take a few laps around the 260-metre circuit at the power walking track. Le Piscine and Doremi Spray Park are a popular choice for family-friendly water-based fun and sunbathing. Age-specific clubs and the video games arcade entertain babies to teenagers from dawn until dusk. After dinner, watch live shows and entertainment at The Broadway Theatre. Le Cabaret hosts daytime activities and also live music and dancing in the evening. The ship also features The Blue Club Disco for music and dancing until late, as well as slot machines and gaming tables at Las Vegas Casino.

Day 6: Sir Bani Yas Island, UAE
On Sir Bani Yas, just like on the islands of Dalma and the six nearby Discovery Islands, an enormous nature reserve has been designated to species in danger of extinction, be they from the Arabic peninsula or from Africa. In particular, on Sir Bani Yas you will be able to observe rare animals inside a protected area where the great majority of the animals, including giraffes, flamingos and cheetahs to name just a few, live freely.

It is this aspect that allows her to captivate guests time and time again. Sail into the preserved historical waterfront and experience the traditional architecture of this calming seascape, hike through the terracotta coloured mountains or even visit the old town and discover the traditional souk and spice markets.
Day 9: Khasab, Oman
One of the hidden gems of The Middle East, Oman will have you captivated from the moment she appears on the distant horizon. From the moment you sail into Khasab you will immediately be greeted by a striking Arabian military fort bewitching the harbour skyline enchanting you into to romance of the area.
