Navigator of the Seas became part of the Royal Caribbean fleet in December 2002. This Voyager Class ship was revitalised in 2013 introducing enhanced dining options and a FlowRider surf simulator, along with refurbished staterooms and SMART technology. As soon as you step a foot on this ship, it aims to amaze; from the glamour of the Royal Promenade and seven-storey high Centrum, to the family-friendly fun, culinary experiences and amazing evening entertainment. Navigator of the Seas is a huge, floating resort that's home to all your holiday needs and dreams.
There's so much to experience on-board that you might not fit it all into one cruise! Imagine you're 'Torvill & Dean' and glide across the ice rink or scale the dizzy heights of the rock climbing wall. Test your surfing balance on the FlowRider or relax with a hot stone massage in Vitality at Sea Spa. Tots to teens are in for fun times in the Adventure Ocean Youth Programme and Teen Centre, but there's quality family-fun to be had on the Navigator Dunes Golf Course or even in the Video Arcade too. When the sun goes down, cuddle-up on the pool deck and watch a big-screen film under the stars, or take your pick from the lively entertainment options around the ship.
Navigator of the Seas offers a huge variety of flavours and dining styles in her bounty of restaurants and eateries. Opt for an early or late sitting with My Time Dining in the three-deck high Sapphire Dining Room and be treated to tasty culinary treats. The casual Windjammer Cafe offers serve-yourself buffet breakfasts and lunches with a restaurant-style dinner service; while the adjoining Jade restaurant presents Asian-themed dinner buffets. Made-to-order salads, paninis and sandwiches, along with a selection of gourmet coffees and pastries, are available in the Park Cafe.
The ship's selection of speciality restaurants immensely enhances the on-board culinary journey. Fries, milkshakes and gourmet burgers are served the 1950s-style American diner Johnny Rockets, while Chops Grille offers a menu of premium steaks, fresh seafood, and tempting desserts. Giovanni's Table combines indoor and outdoor seating with rustic Italian stews, pastas and focaccia. Or you can head to Sabor Modern Mexican for spicy dishes that emphasise fresh, tasty and simple ingredients. If Japanese cuisine is your type of devine dish, Izumi features: sashimi, sukiyaki, sushi rolls and hot rock plates - perfect for a unique Far East experience.
The plethora of bars and lounges on Navigator of the Seas offers something for your every mood. Savour Starbucks coffee, Ben & Jerry's ice cream, and Cupcake Cupboard cupcakes at Cafe Promenade. Two Poets Pub offers a range of imported beers and ales, or you can work your way through the wine list at Vintages. Experience a 1960s vibe, classic cocktails and daily drink specials in the vibrant surroundings of R Bar. Enjoy a drink with friends in the nautically-themed Schooner Bar or celebrate that special occasion with a glass of bubbly at Champagne Bar. Boleros Lounge combines live Latin music with late-night dancing and tropical cocktails. But don't miss the Viking Crown Lounge, which provides comfort and panoramic vistas by day and a lively dance club at night.
Evenings on Navigator of the Seas offers something to suit every guest. Contemporary musical stage shows light up the stage each night in the five-storey high Metropolis Theatre, and there are weekly, themed events on the Royal Promenade. The Star Lounge offers superb dancing, live music and amazing entertainment, while blackjack tables and slot machines are waiting for you to take a chance on them at Casino Royale.
