Day 1: UK to Miami, Florida
Fly from your chosen UK airport to Miami and take a coach transfer to the port to board Caribbean Princess for your journey onwards to the Bahamas.
Day 2: Princess Cays, Bahamas
The resort of Princess Cays is located at the southern end of the island of Eleuthera in the Bahamas and is privately owned by Princess Cruises. Set across 40 acres you'll find 2.5km of white sandy beaches for a few hours' sunbathing and there are private cabanas available to rent on a quiet section of beach. The adjoining waters are perfect for snorkelling, kayaking and sailing and the dedicated Pelicans' Perch play area offers hours of fun for the children. The three beach bars serve up tropical cocktails and live music and you can tuck into an authentic Bahamian barbecue on the beach. Shop for traditional souvenirs at the Tropical Treasure and Bahama Treasure boutiques. Venture further afield and discover Rock Sound blow hole and the picturesque fishing village of Tarpum Bay.
Day 4: San Juan, Puerto Rico
San Juan is the capital of and the largest city on the Caribbean island of Puerto Rico. Explore the cobblestoned buildings of Old San Juan with its 16th-century El Morro and La Fortaleza fortresses, San Juan National Historic Site and Spanish colonial buildings. New San Juan is awash with tropical beaches, luxury hotels, world-class dining and designer shopping. Pay a visit to Casa Blanca Museum, Museo del Nino and Galeria National. Make a whistle-stop tour of the sights on the free trolley bus or take a scenic stroll along Paseo de La Princesa. Learn about the art of rum making on the Bacardi Distillery Tour or enjoy the tranquillity of San Juan Botanical Garden.
Day 5: Amber Cove, Dominican Republic
The Caribbean's newest cruise port - Amber Cove - overlooks the Bay of Maimon on Dominican Republic's northern coastline, just outside Puerto Plata. This 25-acre complex boasts a four-acre Aqua Zone, the unique 360-Degree Bar, plentiful designer shops, a 650-foot-long zipline, water sports, cabanas to rent, and hammocks alongside the water. Pay a visit to the Plastic Artists Art Galleries, Amber Museum, Brugal Rum Factory, San Felipe Fortress, and San Felipe Cathedral in Puerto Plata. Try your hand at windsurfing and kite boarding at Sosua and Cabarete, or swim with dolphins, stingrays and sharks at Ocean World Adventure Park.
Day 6: Grand Turk, Turks & Caicos
Grand Turk is the capital island of the Turks and Caicos and the place where Christopher Columbus first made landfall on his initial voyage to the New World in 1492. Find many Colonial-style buildings and ruins and explore the Turks and Caicos National Museum to discover the islands' history. Try snorkelling and diving off the reefs or whale watch for humpback whales off the coast. Cockburn Town is the centre piece of the island; discover a wonderful selection of historical buildings and an unforgettable rustic charm.
Day 8: Miami, Florida to UK
Today your cruise comes to an end in Miami where you disembark and take a coach transfer to the airport for your flight back to the UK.
