Day 1: Port of Tyne, UK
Make your way to Port of Tyne ready to embark Marella Explorer and set sail for Amsterdam.
Day 2: Ijmuiden (for Amsterdam), Netherlands
The port city of IJumuiden is located at the mouth of the North Sea canal to Amsterdam in the Netherlands. Full of picturesque views and culture; explore Bunker Museum IJmuiden – a war museum located in crew bunkers from WW2. See the historic sights of Castle Brederode and its ruins, or explore IJmuider Zee-en Havenmuseum, which is dedicated to conserving fishing and shipping cultural heritage. Head to Noordpier and take part in a range of water sports and surfing. Take a stroll around Zuid-Kennermerland National Park and walk along the beaches, slide down the sand dunes, and you might even see wild deer on one of the biking or hiking trails.
Day 3: Zeebrugge (for Bruges), Belgium
This modern port of Zeebrugge features a pretty marina, beach and lively seafront promenade with cafes, hotels and easy access to Brussels — Belgium's vibrant capital city. Visit the UNESCO World Heritage site of the Grand Place, the city's central square, and see the 15th-century city hall or relax with a drink in a laid-back cafe. Take a romantic horse and carriage ride along the cobbled streets, passing local markets and winding canals. Known as the chocolate capital of the world — stop by some of the country's oldest and most-famous chocolatiers to sample traditional Belgian chocolate and take away some sweet treats.
Day 4: Southampton, UK
Today your cruise comes to an end, disembark the ship and make our way home.
