Today you will transfer from your hotel in San Diego to the Port where you will embark your Ship, Sirena and set sail for Puerto Vallarta, Mexico.
Day 5: Puerto Vallarta, Mexico
Puerto Vallarta is set on the Pacific coast of Mexico, surrounded by the impressive Sierra Madre Mountains. This picturesque resort is known for its sub-tropical climate, stunning beaches, and vibrant nightlife and restaurant scene. Take a stroll through El Malecon and discover the heart and soul of Puerto Vallarta through the array of stall vendors, street artists and iconic sculptures and statues. Admire Nuestra Senora de Guadalupe church in the town centre or visit one of the ceramic tile factories to watch the traditional Mexican tiles being made. Taste the local drink at a tequila distillery or head to one of the many authentic restaurants to taste traditional cuisine.
Day 6: Manzanillo, Mexico
Manzanillo sits on Mexico's Pacific coastline, overlooking the Bahia de Manzanillo and Bahia Santiago. This port city and resort boasts spectacular weather throughout the year and a lively beach scene. The waterfront promenade on Miramar Beach is a bustling hub filled with craft stalls and restaurants, with the nearby Laguna Miramar home to a myriad of animals and plants. The surrounding waters are perfect for scuba diving and snorkelling. The two world-class golf clubs in the area are a favourite with golfers or why not take a fishing trip out to catch the local sailfish?
Day 7: Acapulco, Mexico
Acapulco sits on a large bay on Mexico's Pacific coastline. Once the playground of the rich and famous; this vibrant beach resort is jam-packed with high-rise buildings with the Sierra del Sur mountains forming an impressive backdrop. Step back in time at Museo Historico de Acapulco or gaze in awe at the collection of masks at Casa de la Mascara. Enjoy quiet reflection at the hilltop La Capilla de la Paz A-frame chapel or Nuestra Senora de la Soledad Cathedral. Admire the colourful flora and fauna at Jardin Botanico de Acapulco or pay a visit to the beautifully-restored pentagonal fort Fuerte de San Diego. Shop for bargains at Mercado Central and Mercado de Artesanias El Parazal. Indulge in a few hours sunbathing at Playa Caleta and Playa Caletilla beaches. No visit here would be complete without watching the professional divers plunging 40 metres off the iconic Le Quebrada cliff into the small cove below.
Day 9: Puerto Quetzal, Guatemala
Puerto Quetzal is the largest Pacific Ocean port in Guatemala and serves as a gateway to a variety of inland attractions. The souvenir market in the cruise terminal has a selection of stands with hand-crafted gifts on display. Venture to the nearby UNESCO World Heritage-listed city of Antigua to admire the Spanish-inspired baroque architecture and colonial churches. Alternatively, head to the ancient Mayan pyramid temples of Yaxha, take a tuna and marlin fishing trip in nearby Ixtapa, or simply relax and sunbathe on idyllic Balneario Likin beach.
Day 10: Corinto, Nicaragua
Corinto is Nicaragua'a only deep-water port and sits on an island connected to the mainland by brides. Stroll around the narrow streets lined with 19th-century wooden row houses or spend time soaking up the sun on one of the town's beaches.Pay a visit to the nearby colonial city of Leon to explore its impressive Cathedral de Leon and the remains of the old Spanish settlement of Leon Viejo.
Day 11: Puntarenas, Costa Rica
Puntarenas is a town located on Costa Rica's Gulf of Nicoya. The coastline is filled with islands, beaches and beautiful natural treasures; the primary attraction is the Monteverde Biological Reserve which has a number of trails featuring natural beauty and wildlife. Walk along Paseo De Los Turista to explore the local environment and see panoramic views of the coast. The Historic Marine Museum portrays the local religious traditions and celebrations of Puntarenas and its diverse geographic and cultural origins.
Day 13: Panama Canal Daylight Transit
Day 15: Willemstad, Curacao
Today arrive in Willemstad, Curacao where you will disembark your ship and be transferred to the airport for your return flight home.
