Palms Cafe is the place to go for large buffets of international cuisines and a more casual atmosphere. See stunning scenery as you sail along the river into the heart of the city where you can find Gothic architecture and a vibrant art scene. Visit Bremen's oldest district, Schnoor Quarter, which is lined with craft shops and traditional restaurants. Enjoy a coffee at the market square and see the proud Roland statue and magnificent Town Hall — an UNESCO World Heritage site that is also home to the country's oldest cask of wine. Bremen offers a wide range of bars, theatres and museums, as well as countless shops from small boutiques to department stores.

The Kiel Canal in Germany is the world's busiest waterway. This impressive 98km stretch of freshwater canal starts at Brunsbuttel and runs through Schleswig-Holstein to Kiel-Holtenau, linking the North Sea with the Baltic Sea. The Kiel Canal is the basis for trade between the Baltic countries and the rest of the world.
Day 5: Warnemunde, Germany
The German port town of Warnemunde sits on the Baltic Sea coast. Step ashore and take a stroll around the picturesque marina and beachfront. Admire the shops and fishing boats that line the nearby Alter Strom canal. Pay a visit to Edvard Munch Haus, the home of the renowned expressionist painter, and the impressive Warnemunde Church. Travel to the nearby Hanseatic red-brick town of Rostock with its Cultural History Museum, Petrikirche, Marienkirche, and the vibrant Kropeliner Strasse. Warnemunde is also your gateway to the sights and famous attractions of Berlin.
