Overview Itinerary
The Ship
The Royal Caribbean fleet welcomed Rhapsody of the Seas in May 1997. This Vision Class ship underwent a facelift in March 2012 introducing three new restaurants, a bar, and a nursery, along with updated staterooms and SMART technology throughout. Light floods into the ship through more than two acres of skylights, glass canopies, and floor-to-ceiling windows, but there's also an amazing six-deck high glass Centrum reaching skywards. With 11 decks of bars, activities, staterooms, restaurants and entertainment venues, this fun-packed ship has something for everyone. Days at sea are your chance to enjoy the highlights of Rhapsody of the Seas. Feeling active? Meet the challenge of the rock climbing wall, enjoy a workout in the fitness centre or do a few laps of the jogging track. Looking to relax? Indulge in a hot stone massage in the Vitality at Sea Spa, or chill out in the tranquillity of the adult-only Solarium. What about the kids? Discover fun times and plenty of activities for tots to teens in the Adventure Ocean and Teen Programmes. On top of this, the ship drops anchor in some amazing destinations and ports of call, opening up a world of sightseeing and adventure.

Food
Rhapsody of the Seas brings together a variety of flavours and dining styles in its restaurants and eateries. Whether you choose an early meal, late sitting, or to eat at your leisure with My Time Dining in the Edelweiss Dining Room; you'll be treated to sumptuous international cuisine. The casual Windjammer Cafe offers serve-yourself buffet breakfasts and lunches, with a restaurant-style dinner service. Made-to-order salads, paninis and sandwiches, along with a selection of gourmet coffees and pastries, are available in the Park Cafe. The selection of speciality restaurants truly boosts the cruise's culinary journey. Premium steaks, fresh seafood, hearty side dishes and delicious desserts are all awaiting your order in Chops Grille. Tuck into rustic Italian fare in the casual setting of Giovanni's Table, or dine on Japanese sushi rolls, sashimi, sukiyaki and hot rock plates in the Izumi restaurant. The exclusive Chef's Table presents a five-course intimate dining experience with wine pairings for a more formal and sophisticated evening.

Drink
The plethora of bars and lounges on Rhapsody of the Seas offers something for your every mood. Sit down with a frothy cappuccino at Latte'tudes cafe or enjoy a drink with friends in the nautically-themed Schooner Bar. Celebrate that special occasion with a glass of bubbly in the Champagne Bar or savour the signature cocktails and surprise entertainment at R Bar. From its lofty position on Deck 11, the Viking Crown Lounge is spaciously comfortable with a spectacular view by day. But at night, it transforms into a lively dance club with plenty of fun and good-times to be had.

Entertainment
The evening scene on Rhapsody of the Seas offers something to match your every mood. Thrilling musical extravaganzas and production shows hit the stage each night in Broadway Melodies Theatre, while the Shall We Dance Lounge offers dancing, entertainment and live music. But if you're feeling lucky and fancy a different kind of night, chance your arm at the blackjack tables and slot machines at Casino Royale.
Day 1: UK to Venice, Italy
Fly from your chosen UK airport to Venice and take a coach transfer to the port to board Royal Caribbean’s Rhapsody of the Seas for your journey onwards to Dubrovnik.
Day 2: Dubrovnik, Croatia
The Croatian city of Dubrovnik sits on the country's southern coast on the Adriatic Sea. Explore the city centre — an UNESCO World Heritage site — with its 17th-century Cathedral of the Assumption and Rector's Palace, before walking around the ancient city walls. Admire the views as you ride the cable car to Mt Srd or visit one of the city's museums. Relax in the sunshine on Banje Beach; enjoy a boat trip to the nearby islands of Lokrum and Elafati; and view the city from the water on a kayaking trip or take a snorkelling tour.
Day 3: Kotor, Montenegro
Kotor is based on the Adriatic coastline in south-west Montenegro. One of the country's prettiest and most-famous towns, Kotor is an UNESCO World Heritage site and offers a range of historic landmarks and natural beauty spots. The old town district is filled with medieval architecture and monuments — as well as one of the narrowest streets in the world! From its Venetian-style gates to its former Austrian prisons, Kotor's past is kept alive for you to explore. Wander around the range of shops, and head to a bar or restaurant at a piazza to admire views of the mountains.
Day 4: At Sea
Day 5: Santorini, Greece
Curving around a majestic caldera, Santorini is one of the prettiest of the Greek Isles. Hop on the tender boat ashore, where the cable car will whisk you up to the cliff-top village of Thira with its quaint streets filled with restaurants, bars and shops. Pay a visit to the cave houses at the beautiful village of Oia before heading down the steps to Amoudi Bay to feast on fresh seafood. Taste the unique beers at the Donkey Brewery close to the black pebbled sands of Kamari Beach. Explore the island's history at the Akrotiri archaeological site or admire the dramatic coastline by catamaran.
Day 6: Katakolon, Greece
The sleepy fishing port of Katakolon sits on the west coast of the Peloponnese, close to Pyrgos. The port is gateway to one of Greece's most famous landmarks - Olympia. Visit the ancient ruins of the Olympic Stadium where the sacred flame is lit each Olympic year. Pay a visit to the remains of the 7th-century BC Temple of Hera and the Temple of Zeus. Admire the classical, Roman and Greek treasures at the Archaeological Museum of Olympia. Pay a visit to the Mercouri Estate Winery to enjoy a wine tour and taste the wine.
