Overview Itinerary
The Ship
Norwegian Jade joined the Norwegian Cruise Line's fleet in 2006. From the moment you step onboard you have the freedom to do whatever you please - from the Freestyle Dining concept in more than 15 restaurants to the impressive variety of family-friendly entertainment. Choose a contemporary stateroom or enjoy the ultimate comfort of a butler and concierge service in one of the exclusive Garden Villas in The Haven. Spend your days relaxing on the pool deck or unwind in one of the four hot tubs. Put yourself in a tranquil mood with a hot stone massage in Mandara Spa, or lose yourself in a book in the library. Head for a workout in the fitness centre or shoot a few hoops on the sports court. Indulge in retail therapy at the Galleria Boutiques or keep in touch at the Internet cafe. Children can enjoy fun and games at the Splash Academy and Sapphire Kid's Pool; while teenagers can hang out at Wipe Out Teen's Club and the video arcade.

Food
Alizar and Grand Pacific are the ship's main dining rooms, serving daily-changing menus, Chef's signature dishes, and a varied wine list. Garden Cafe presents a wide choice of traditional buffet-style meals and a kid's only area. Tuck into freshly grilled chicken and burgers in Bali Hai Bar & Grill or dine round-the-clock in the family-friendly Blue Lagoon food court. Made-to-order omelettes, waffles, fruit, ethnic specialities, and pasta dishes are available at the open-air Great Outdoors. Asian fusion cuisine, noodles, wok-fried dishes, and soups are served in Jasmine Garden, and the poolside Topsiders Bar & Grill offers fast food options. A gourmet dining experience is available in the French-style Le Bistro restaurant. La Cucina offers authentic Tuscan cuisine and Moderno serves traditional Brazilian steakhouse fare to your table. Teppanyaki provides an authentic Japanese dining experience and Sushi Bar offers freshly-prepared sushi and sashimi. Savour American-style meat and fish dishes at Cagney's Steakhouse.

Drink
Norwegian Jade offers something for everyone in its eclectic mix of bars and lounges. Savour speciality coffees, teas, cookies, and pastries in the Atrium Bar, or sip cocktails at Topsiders Bar and Star Bar. People-watch as you sip a glass of champagne at the Art Nouveau-style Magnum's Champagne & Wine Bar. Sip whiskey and beers at the Malting's Whiskey Bar or drink traditional sake at the Sake Bar.

Entertainment
Evenings on Norwegian Jade cater to your every mood and taste. Discover lively production shows on stage — including comedy, music, dancing, and magic shows — in the Stardust Theatre. Day 1: UK – Rome
Fly from your selected UK airport to Rome and be transferred to the Port where you will embark on board Norwegian Jade.
Day 2: At Sea
Day 3: Santorini, Greece
Curving around a majestic caldera, Santorini is one of the prettiest of the Greek Isles. Hop on the tender boat ashore, where the cable car will whisk you up to the cliff-top village of Thira with its quaint streets filled with restaurants, bars and shops. Pay a visit to the cave houses at the beautiful village of Oia before heading down the steps to Amoudi Bay to feast on fresh seafood. Taste the unique beers at the Donkey Brewery close to the black pebbled sands of Kamari Beach. Explore the island's history at the Akrotiri archaeological site or admire the dramatic coastline by catamaran.
Day 4: Athens, Greece
Athens — Greece's capital city — was the birthplace of democracy and western civilisation. The city features numerous 5th-century landmarks including the former temple of Parthenon and the Acropolis, an ancient citadel that sits on a hilltop overlooking the Plaka district. The historic Plaka neighbourhood is one of the oldest in the world and features winding streets lined with family-run bars and restaurants.
Day 5: Mykonos, Greece
Mykonos sits in the Aegean Sea with traditional white-washed houses and bright-blue waters. Wander the twisting narrow lanes, which were originally designed to confuse pirate invaders, and discover quaint shops and boutiques. Visit stylish beach bars, modern restaurants and see the iconic 16th-century Venetian windmills which overlook Mykonos town — the island's capital.
Day 6: Chania, Crete, Greece
Chania is a thriving city with beautiful Venetian buildings. Located on the north coast of Crete, the city is picturesque and it main attractions are situated close to the harbour. Explore the waterfront and stroll along the harbour wall to be greeted by the iconic Venetian Lighthouse. Discover the ancient buildings and admire the Venetian and Turkish architecture. Take a walk down the narrow shopping streets to soak up the local culture, or dine in one of the many waterfront restaurants and cafes to taste the flavours of the local cuisine. Head to the Naval Museum where you can gain insight into Crete's maritime history.
Day 7: Valletta, Malta
Malta's small capital city — Valletta — sits within the city's original walls on a hillside and is known for its old churches, palaces and museums. Formerly ruled by the French, Italians, Spanish, and British; this UNESCO World Heritage site is filled with more than 300 historical monuments — making it one of the most concentrated historic areas in the world! Stroll through the narrow cobblestone streets of its old town district and see the famous Maltese-decorated balconies. Among a variety of churches, you can discover St. John's Co-Cathedral — one of Malta's biggest tourist attractions — with its striking interior decor and painting of John the Baptist by Caravaggio.
Day 8: Messina, Italy
The gateway to Mount Etna, Messina, is the third-largest port in Sicily. This city — which was used to film part of the film 'The Godfather' — is famous for its museums and architectural beauty. Drive up the side of nearby Mount Etna on a day trip or wander around the many shops along Messina's wide boulevards to look at Sicilian pottery and art pieces. Black volcanic glass from Mount Etna features heavily in Sicilian jewellery and makes a great souvenir. Visit Norman Messina Cathedral to see its beautiful, 15th-century windows and astronomical clock tower, before walking by the stunning marble fountains — Fontana di Orione and Neptune Fountain — which are decorated with mythical creatures and gods. Make sure to dine on locally-inspired swordfish, pasta and pizza dishes complemented by rich Sicilian wine at a trattoria during your time here, too.
Day 9: Naples, Italy
Naples on Italy's Amalfi Coast is your next port of call. Visit Piazza del Plebiscito to admire the Royal Palace, Galleria Umberto and San Carlo Theatre. Step inside the Duomo to view the Cappella di San Gennaro, the baptistery, and colourful frescoes and mosaics. Enjoy family-time at Acquario Della Stazione Zoological Di Napoli. Join a tour to the ruins of Pompeii, Mount Vesuvius and picturesque Sorrento and Positano. Or take a scenic boat trip to the beautiful island of Capri.
Day 10: Florence/Pisa (Livorno), Italy
Livorno — Tuscany's second-largest city — is home to one of Italy's largest cruise ports. The city's main Terrazza Mascagni square with its grand pavement and seafront promenade is a common meeting place for locals looking to relax. The 16th-century Old Fortress faces the harbour and sits at the entrance to the canal-lined Venezia district. Enjoy gourmet dishes and sample local seafood, which is said to be the best on the Tyrrhenian Coast. Head to Central Piazza Cavour or the car-free Via Ricasoli for shopping, try Via Magenta and pick up some quirky souvenirs, or stop by Via dei Pensieri's street market for a great selection of food, clothing, accessories, and homewares. If you're looking to travel further afield, Pisa is just a short drive away.
Day 11: Rome – UK
Disembark in Rome and be transferred to the airport for your flight back to the UK.
