You have the choice of 12 dining venues on MSC Meraviglia. The ship's main restaurants serve fresh Mediterranean cuisine alongside international specialities so you can truly experience the flavours of this iconic region. Visit Eately to taste and learn about fine Italian foods from leading experts. For dinner, head to The Butcher's Cut — an American-style steakhouse — and enjoy tasty meals with cocktails and New World wines. For diverse Asian meals, try Kaito Teppanyaki Restaurant & Sushi Bar, or for worldwide options, go to the ship's buffet venue. Open for 20 hours a day, you can enjoy a huge range of choice, including child-friendly dishes and healthy options. There's even the award-winning chocolate bar, Jean-Philippe Maury Chocolaterie, as well as an ice cream parlour and crêperie found on the promenade.
MSC Meraviglia offers a variety of places to enjoy drinks while sailing. Visit Champagne Bar and enjoy your drinks with caviar and oysters, or relax at Cocktail Bar instead. The large Carousel Lounge hosts spectacular shows such as Cirque du Soleil and transforms into a disco later in the evening. For a more casual atmosphere, relax at the sports bar or get out in the sun and enjoy a beer from the pool bar.
MSC Meraviglia features a great variety of entertainment venues. Have fun at the water park — which includes separate pools and three slides — or try some head-to-head Formula 1 virtual reality racing. There's a gym, bowling alley and sports centre on board, as well as arcade games, duty-free shops and selection of beauty and relaxation treatments at MSC Aurea Spa. Day 1: Southampton, UK
Arrive in Southampton and board MSC Meraviglia for your 14-night journey across the Atlantic.
Day 3: Belfast, Northern Ireland
Belfast, capital of Northern Ireland, enjoys a wonderful setting of high hills, sea lough and river valley. Its name originated from the Gaelic ‘Beal Feirste’ meaning ‘mouth of the sandy fjord’. Founded in the 17th century, the city prospered becoming one of the world’s leading industrial names, and was home to Harland and Wolff – the shipbuilders who built the ill-fated Titanic. Despite its more recent political troubles, Belfast has emerged as a vibrant, alluring destination. Amidst its beautiful Victorian buildings you can shop in stylish boutiques, sip a Guinness in one its charming old pubs or take a scenic stroll in Barnett Demesne park. The centrepiece is the City Hall, completed in 1906, with its domed roof and grand Italian marble staircase. Other points of interest on the city include Belfast Cathedral, which has the largest Celtic Cross in Ireland plus Celtic themed mosaics and stained glass, Belfast Castle, sitting on the slopes of Cave Hill, and Belfast Zoo.
Day 5 – 6: Reykjavik, Iceland
Reykjavik — the world's most northern capital — is Iceland's cultural hub. Sundahöfn is a modern harbour just minutes from the city centre that welcomes large ships from around the world, while smaller ships dock in the Old Harbour at the heart of town. Famous for its vibrant nightlife and vast array of cafes, bars and restaurants this diverse setting also boasts natural beauty in the unspoilt countryside.
Away from the bustling centre, discover a small piece of paradise at the Nauthólsvík geothermal beach. Golden sand meets a fusion of cold sea and hot geothermal water, which produces warmer temperatures perfect for swimming. Visit in winter and catch a glimpse of the Aurora Borealis - The Northern Lights.
Day 11: St Johns, New Foundland
St. John's is the capital city of the Newfoundland and Labrador province and sits off Canada's Atlantic coastline. Explore local culture and history at The Rooms - the Provincial Museum, Provincial Archives, and the Art Gallery of Newfoundland and Labrador. Discover Earth's geological makeup using interactive exhibits at Johnson GEO Centre or stroll along Water Street — one of the oldest streets in North America. Admire panoramic views from Signal Hill National Historic Site or visit old Cape Spear Lighthouse at Cape Spear. Explore the unique fishing village of Quidi Vidi Village, home to the Mallard Cottage national historic site and Quidi Vidi Inn of Olde. Journey by boat past Bay Bulls to view the puffins and seabirds on Puffin Island.
Day 12: Halifax, Quebec
Found on the Atlantic Ocean coast, Halifax is the provincial capital of Nova Scotia and is home to one of the world's largest natural harbours. The heart of Canada's east coast arts scene, you can explore a variety of galleries and museums to find everything from folk art to relics of the Mi'kmaq people! Visit Fisherman's Cove — a 200-year-old restored village — and stroll around a traditional farmers' market to find tasty, local food and drink. Learn about the city's heritage at the Maritime Museum of the Atlantic or stroll the pretty displays at Halifax Public Gardens.
Day 14: New York City, New York
New York, New York, so good they named it twice. There really is no city in the world quite like it. From the bright lights on Broadway and Times Square to the uniqueness and culture of Soho, this enchanting city will keep you coming back time and time again.
Day 15 - 16: New York City, New York
Today your cruise comes to an end. After disembarkation make your way to your four-star hotel in New York for your two-night stay.
Day 17: New York City to UK
After check-out, make your way to the airport for your return flight back to the UK.
