You have the choice of 12 dining venues on MSC Meraviglia. The ship's main restaurants serve fresh Mediterranean cuisine alongside international specialities so you can truly experience the flavours of this iconic region. Visit Eately to taste and learn about fine Italian foods from leading experts. For dinner, head to The Butcher's Cut — an American-style steakhouse — and enjoy tasty meals with cocktails and New World wines. For diverse Asian meals, try Kaito Teppanyaki Restaurant & Sushi Bar, or for worldwide options, go to the ship's buffet venue. Open for 20 hours a day, you can enjoy a huge range of choice, including child-friendly dishes and healthy options. There's even the award-winning chocolate bar, Jean-Philippe Maury Chocolaterie, as well as an ice cream parlour and crêperie found on the promenade.
MSC Meraviglia offers a variety of places to enjoy drinks while sailing. Visit Champagne Bar and enjoy your drinks with caviar and oysters, or relax at Cocktail Bar instead. The large Carousel Lounge hosts spectacular shows such as Cirque du Soleil and transforms into a disco later in the evening. For a more casual atmosphere, relax at the sports bar or get out in the sun and enjoy a beer from the pool bar.
MSC Meraviglia features a great variety of entertainment venues. Have fun at the water park — which includes separate pools and three slides — or try some head-to-head Formula 1 virtual reality racing. New York, New York, so good they named it twice. There really is no city in the world quite like it. From the bright lights on Broadway and Times Square to the uniqueness and culture of Soho, this enchanting city will keep you coming back time and time again.
Day 4: New York City, New York (Embarkation Day)
After check out make your way to the port to board MSC Meraviglia for your ten night cruise.
Day 6: Sydney, Canada
Sydney, in Canada's Nova Scotia, is situated on the east coast of Cape Breton Island. When you step off your ship, you are greeted by the world's largest fiddle outside the Joan Harriss Cruise Pavilion! The port is also the gateway to the island's many attractions — including the world-famous Cabot Trail, Fortress of Louisbourg, and Alexander Graham Bell Museum at Baddeck Village. Take a tour through the historic streets of Old Sydney, stopping by St Patrick's Museum, the Jost House and the old stone St Alphonsus Church en-route. You can also live the life of a coal miner when you visit Cape Breton Miners’ Museum, Ocean Deeps Colliery Coal Mine, Miner's Village, and the Glace Bay Heritage Museum!
Day 7: Corner Brook, Canada
The city of Corner Brook is located on the Bay of Islands at the mouth of the Humber River on Newfoundland's west coast in Canada. Pay a visit to Captain James Cook National Historic Site for stunning views of the Blomidon Mountains, Corner Brook and the Bay of Islands. Admire the fascinating exhibits at Corner Brook Museum and Archives and the steam locomotives at the Railway Society of Newfoundland. Take a walk along the Corner Brook Stream Trail to the idyllic surroundings of Margaret Bowater Park, go zip-lining in the Humber Valley, or travel to the serene Gros Morne National Park.
Day 8: Charlottetown, Canada
Charlottetown is the capital of Canada's smallest province - Prince Edward Island. This place means a lot to Canadians being the Birthplace of Confederation - where the 1864 conference at Province House led to the creation of the Dominion of Canada. The 13km Confederation Bridge that spans the Northumberland Strait links Prince Edward Island to New Brunswick on the Canadian mainland. Discover Victoria Row, the Anne of Green Gables store, the Founder's Hall and the stately Lieutenant Governor's mansion on a horse-drawn carriage ride through Charlottetown's downtown area. Take an island tour and view the Point Prim Lighthouse and Wood Islands Lighthouse, the artist’s haven at Victoria-by-the-Sea, Anne of Green Cables Museum at Silver Bush, and the dramatic redstone cliffs at Cavendish Beach.
Day 10 - 11: Quebec, Canada
Quebec City sits proudly on the Saint Lawrence River at the heart of Canada's French-speaking Quebec province. Explore the Old Town - a UNESCO World Heritage site - with its narrow, cobblestone streets, 17th and 18th-century buildings and churches, and the impressive Chateau Frontenac. Travel back in time at Musee de la Civilisation and La Citadelle de Quebec or gaze in awe at Notre-Dame de Quebec Basilica. Step outside the city walls and discover the vibrant St Baptiste, Montcalm, St-Roch and Colline Parlementaire neighbourhoods. Take a walk on the battlefields of the Plains of Abraham or venture further afield to the idyllic Montmorency Falls Park.
Day 14: New York City, New York to UK
Today your cruise comes to an end. Disembark and make your way to the airport for your return flight back to the UK.
