The Ship
Fresh from a chic makeover in 2014, Aurora is one of P&O Cruises' mid-sized, family-friendly ships. From its sleek exterior and amazing 35ft John Mills designed sculpture in the four-storey atrium, to the water-filled delights of the Crystal Pool with its clear-glass Skydome, Aurora is a true floating marvel. Days at sea open up a world of relaxation and activities galore. Sunbathe on a lounger by the water's edge or chill out in a bubbling whirlpool spa. Enjoy some downtime and top-to-toe treatments in the serenity of the Oasis Spa. Add activity to your day by practising your swing at the golf simulator or shape-up with a workout in the gym. Settle down with some popcorn and a drink in the cinema and enjoy the latest films on screen. There's also fun and games for the children in The Reef and splashing times in the paddling pool.

Food
Culinary experiences on Aurora encompass flavours from around the world. Discover traditional Club Dining in the Alexandria Restaurant with an early or late evening sitting and a menu of tasty dishes featuring delicious desserts. Choose a dining time to suit you with Freedom Dining in the Medina Restaurant, where you can select an intimate table for two or make new friends at a larger table. Relish informal-style dining at Horizon Buffet Restaurant, and al fresco breakfasts, lunches, and Costa coffees in Lido Grill. The speciality restaurants take the culinary experiences on Aurora to a spectacular level. Sindhu fuses modern Indian cuisine with British flair in elegant surroundings. The Glass House pairs a la carte sharing platters, steaks and gastro fare with fine wines selected by Olly Smith. Dinner in The Beach House presents favourites such as tiger prawns and buffalo wings to start, followed by macaroni cheese, burgers or fillet of beef for main course. For dessert, try a selection of sweet treats such as chocolate fudge cake.

Drink
Aurora showcases ten bars and lounges to suit every mood. The Terrace, Crystal and Riviera Bars offer cold drinks and cocktails poolside. The Crow’s Nest offers panoramic views and live music, or you can uncover big-screen sports and live music in the British-style Champions Pub. Anderson’s Bar is reminiscent of a country house hotel bar, while Charlie's Bar features cocktails and relaxing piano music.

Entertainment
There's so much to entertain you aboard Aurora day and night. Carmen's Show Lounge presents ballroom dancing, party nights and vibrant shows courtesy of The Headliners Theatre Company. The Masquerade is a pub by day and transforms into a lively disco nightspot in the evening. Monte Carlo Casino is the place to dice with Lady Luck at the slot machines and the roulette and blackjack tables. There's something to suit everyone on Aurora.
