Day 4: Cabo San Lucas, Mexico
This resort city is located on the southern tip of Mexico's 800-mile long Baja California peninsula. The city is most famous for its beaches, water sports and nightlife. Visit the popular stone arch of El Arco, a magnificent natural rock formation where the Pacific Ocean meets the Gulf of California. For adrenaline junkies, visit Medano beach and get involved in a wide range of water sports, including jet skiing, snorkelling and parasailing. Lots of restaurants and bars also line the beach so you can enjoy a cocktail while you admire the picturesque view.
Day 5: Puerto Vallarta, Mexico
Puerto Vallarta is set on the Pacific coast of Mexico, surrounded by the impressive Sierra Madre Mountains. This picturesque resort is known for its sub-tropical climate, stunning beaches, and vibrant nightlife and restaurant scene. Take a stroll through El Malecon and discover the heart and soul of Puerto Vallarta through the array of stall vendors, street artists and iconic sculptures and statues. Admire Nuestra Senora de Guadalupe church in the town centre or visit one of the ceramic tile factories to watch the traditional Mexican tiles being made. Day 8: Puerto Quetzal, Guatemala
Puerto Quetzal is the largest Pacific Ocean port in Guatemala and serves as a gateway to a variety of inland attractions. The souvenir market in the cruise terminal has a selection of stands with hand-crafted gifts on display. Venture to the nearby UNESCO World Heritage-listed city of Antigua to admire the Spanish-inspired baroque architecture and colonial churches. Alternatively, head to the ancient Mayan pyramid temples of Yaxha, take a tuna and marlin fishing trip in nearby Iztapa, or simply relax and sunbathe on idyllic Balneario Likin beach.
Day 10: Puntarenas, Costa Rica
Puntarenas is a town located on Costa Rica's Gulf of Nicoya. The coastline is filled with islands, beaches and beautiful natural treasures; the primary attraction is the Monteverde Biological Reserve which has a number of trails featuring natural beauty and wildlife. Walk along Paseo De Los Turista to explore the local environment and see panoramic views of the coast. The Historic Marine Museum portrays the local religious traditions and celebrations of Puntarenas and its diverse geographic and cultural origins.
Day 12: Panama Canal (Cruising)
Sail through the Panama Canal, an artificial 48-mile waterway in Panama which connects the Atlantic Ocean with the Pacific Ocean. This most complex of engineering projects was constructed between 1904 and 1914 and is often referred to as 'The eighth wonder of the world' due to its impressive construction. As you transit the canal, gaze in awe at the spectacular panoramic views of rugged landscapes and lush emerald forests. From the Atlantic entrance you pass through Limon Bay, Gatun Locks, Gatun Lake, Gamboa, Culebra Cut, Pedro Miguel Locks, and Miraflore Locks en-route to the Bay of Panama.
Day 13: Colon, Panama
The Panamanian city of Colón sits near the Atlantic entrance to the Panama Canal. See the ruins of five Spanish forts by the bay and make the most of the white-sand beaches which have no tides. Visit the naturally-beautiful landscapes of Portobelo National Park and Chagres National Park, take a jungle tour to see indigenous wildlife or sail along the river in a traditional boat. The modern Colon 2000 cruise port features a large shopping complex where you can pick up duty-free bargains.
Day 14: Cartagena, Colombia
Disembark in Colombia's Cartagena. Featuring cobbled streets, pretty plazas, old churches, and 13km of stone colonial walls; Cartagena is possibly the Caribbean coast's most beautiful destination. While here, visit the famous Palace of the Inquisition — which is a grisly museum featuring former instruments of torture from colonial times! Next, see one of Spain's greatest fortresses, Castillo de San Felipe de Barajas, which dominates the skyline and includes a network of tunnels that you can enter. Do some more sightseeing and enjoy beautiful buildings such as a convent founded in the 17th century and a stunning cathedral. Enjoy the palaces, mansions and monasteries of the old town district — sampling local snacks and drinks on the way — or take a tour of the nearby mangroves and see colourful, local wildlife.
Day 17: Fort Lauderdale, Florida - UK
Disembark Celebrity Summit in Fort Lauderdale and transfer to airport for return overnight flight to the UK.
