Overview Itinerary
The Ship
Carnival Triumph was launched back in 1999 as the first of the Destiny-class ships. This vibrant ship was built with families in mind - from water-based delights at the Carnival Waterworks aqua park to activities galore at SportsSquare. With fifteen decks of modern staterooms, restaurants and bars, the two-deck Cloud 9 Spa, and eclectic entertainment options, Carnival Triumph is sure to impress from the moment you step into the aptly-named Triumph Atrium. Days at sea are your chance to enjoy the highlights of Carnival Triumph. Looking to relax? Chill out in a hammock at the Serenity Adult Only Retreat or in the thalassotherapy pool at Cloud 9 Spa. Feeling active? Ride the Twister Waterslide at Waterworks aqua park, or scale the dizzy heights of SkyCourse. What about the kids? Discover fun-filled activities for all ages in Camp Ocean and interactive story time at Dr Seuss Bookville. The ship also drops anchor at fascinating ports of call with famous sights and adventures to experience ashore.

There are abundant on-board restaurants and eateries. The two-deck high Sunrise Dining Room offers fixed-seating dining and two sittings; whereas Sunset Dining Room has open dining from 5.45pm to 9.30pm. Both restaurants present a daily-changing menu of starters, soups, main courses and desserts. Casual, serve-yourself dining is on the menu in Lido Restaurant, or taste your way around the world at the Chef's Choice eatery. Pop into Guy's Burger Joint for authentic, American-style burgers and toppings, or set your tastebuds alight with spicy tacos, burritos and salsa at BlueIguana Cantina. Reserve your table at the Fahrenheit 555 Steakhouse for mouth-watering steaks and seafood, or savour healthy Japanese cuisine in Bonsai Sushi. The family-style Cucina del Capitano has a menu of Italian-American dishes, or tuck into Asian-inspired dishes in Ji Ji Asian Kitchen. Take a seat at The Chef's Table for a VIP dining experience as chefs create culinary magic just steps from your table.

Carnival Triumph has a wide choice of bars and cafes. Relax with a freshly-made cappuccino in JavaBlue or enjoy milkshakes and gelato at Shake Spot. Havana Bar serves up Cuban coffee, handcrafted cocktails and pastries by day, transforming into a music and dancing bar after dark. The lively Key West-inspired Red Frog Pub combines Caribbean fare and craft brewed ales with table football and live music. Relax and chat with friends over a drink in Piano Bar 88, or enjoy a few beers and sporting events in EA Sports Bar. Colourful cocktails are mixed in front of you at vintage-style Alchemy Bar, or chill with tequila-based drinks and ice-cold Mexican beers in Blue Iguana Tequila Bar.

Carnival Triumph really comes to life in the evening. Discover themed shows, game shows and musical revues on stage at the Liquid Lounge. Limelight Lounge also hosts live music, vocalists, comedians and karaoke, or enjoy a few laughs at Punchliner Comedy Club. Risk a few pennies in the slot machines or pick your lucky number at the roulette wheel in Triumph Casino. Bring your day to a close in style with dancing and themed parties in the Nightclub until late.

Day 2: New York City, New York
New York, New York, so good they named it twice. There really is no city in the world quite like it. From the bright lights on Broadway and Times Square to the uniqueness and culture of Soho, this enchanting city will keep you coming back time and time again.

After check-out, make your way to the port to board Carnival Triumph for your Panama Canal cruise.
Day 4 - 5: At Sea
Day 6: Grand Turk, Turks & Caicos
Grand Turk is the capital island of the Turks and Caicos and the place where Christopher Columbus first made landfall on his initial voyage to the New World in 1492. Find many Colonial-style buildings and ruins and explore the Turks and Caicos National Museum to discover the islands' history. Try snorkelling and diving off the reefs or whale watch for humpback whales off the coast. Cockburn Town is the centre piece of the island; discover a wonderful selection of historical buildings and an unforgettable rustic charm.
Day 7: At Sea
Day 8: Grand Cayman, Cayman Islands
The ship drops anchor at British-style Grand Cayman in the Cayman Islands. Stroll around the shops, cafes and museums in nearby George Town and spend time relaxing on the white sand of Seven Mile Beach. Swim with marine life at Stingray City or go snorkelling in search of local angel and parrot fish at Coral Garden. Keep your eyes peeled for indigenous rare blue iguanas when you visit Queen Elizabeth II Botanical Park. Make sure to see the original Batmobile and Batcycle from the Batman TV series at the Cayman Motor Museum before you depart, too.
Day 9: At Sea
Day 10: Limon, Costa Rica
Limon sits on the Caribbean coast and is the sixth-largest city in Costa Rica. Visit the island's capital, Puerto Limon, to soak up the unique culture and architecture and to take a walk around the tropical Parque Vargas. Enjoy a boat trip to view the Leatherback, Hawksbill and Green sea turtles at Tortuguero National Park. Discover colourful marine life and coral reefs at Cahuita National Park and the stunning rainforests in Talamanca Mountains to the south of the region. The towns of Manzanillo and Puerto de Viejo de Talamanca give you a taste of traditional Tico lifestyles as well as amazing beaches.
Day 11: Colon (Panama Canal), Panama
The Panamanian city of Colón sits near the Atlantic entrance to the Panama Canal. See the ruins of five Spanish forts by the bay and make the most of the white-sand beaches which have no tides. Visit the naturally-beautiful landscapes of Portobelo National Park and Chagres National Park, take a jungle tour to see indigenous wildlife or sail along the river in a traditional boat. The modern Colon 2000 cruise port features a large shopping complex where you can pick up duty-free bargains.

Enjoy white sand, clear sea, waterfront bars, and exciting experiences — as well as the bustling Straw Market where you can buy local crafts and souvenirs. Ride a horse along the shore or get close to the creatures in Stingray Cove. You can have fun on the slides at Half Moon Lagoon Aqua Park; take a boat trip to the uninhabited Treasure Chest Island; snorkel alongside colourful fish; and visit the impressive Elkhorn Reef during your time here.
