Overview Itinerary
The Ship
Magellan joined the Cruise & Maritime Voyages fleet in March 2015. As the flagship of the fleet, this adult-only ship is proud to offer her guests a casual and intimate cruise experience, coupled with friendly service and attention to detail. She sets sail with a maximum of 1250 passengers in 726 stylish cabins. The ship has nine passenger decks, home to a range of restaurants and bars, sports and leisure facilities, as well as plenty of expansive deck areas. Days at sea are your chance to relax and make the most of the on-board facilities. Relax by the two pools, take a dip in one of the three whirlpools, or indulge in a full-body massage in the Jade Wellness Centre. Curl up with a book in the library or enjoy a touch of retail therapy at the shopping galleria. Days ashore reveal iconic cities, famous sights, chic seaside towns, and the chance to sample the local cuisine.

Food
There is a diverse range of dining options on board, with the elegant Kensington and Waldorf Restaurants providing full English breakfasts, a five-course lunch and a daily-changing menu of tasty treats for dinner. The informal Raffles Bistro is open throughout the day to enjoy a selection of international buffet-style dishes, with the option of alfresco dining on deck. If you feel peckish poolside, you can tuck also into hot dogs, burgers and salads at the open-air Grill.

Drink
Magellan has a bar or lounge to suit your every mood. Enjoy panoramic ocean vistas in the lounges on Magellan Deck or head to Neptune Observation Bar on Deck 11 for a bird's eye view. No need to wander too far from your sunbed for refreshments with Eros Bar and Lido Bar close by. Enjoy some downtime with a glass of wine in Hamptons Lounge Bar or chat with friends over a drink in the stylish Captain's Club. The monochrome Sinatra's Lounge Bar combines great views with piano music and an intimate atmosphere.

Entertainment
The entertainment on Magellan caters to every taste. Magellan Main Show Lounge spans two decks and hosts cooking demonstrations and guest speakers by day, and twice-nightly shows with singing, dancing, and comedy. Risk a few coins at the slot machines and gaming tables in Casino Royale. End your evening in style at the 1960's-style Scott's Nightclub, where the DJ and karaoke keep things going until the early hours.

As you admire this stunning landscape, you'll understand why it was the inspiration for works by famous artists such as Claude Monet and Henri Matisse.

Walk around the distinctive Vieux-Bassin harbour to explore the quaint 16th to 18th-century town houses and the wood-built Saint Catherine's Church. Stroll though the intriguing cobbled streets, window-shop at the stylish boutiques, and stop for a cup of coffee at one of the waterfront cafes.
