Overview Itinerary
The Ship
The intimate Boudicca delivers high-quality service and a welcoming atmosphere from the moment you step on board. With a total passenger capacity of 880 — rare in modern cruising — she is a ship that provides you with more space for relaxing, as well as greater access to shorelines that larger ships can't reach. The range of dishes and dining venues on Boudicca is remarkable. Breakfast offers hot and continental options alongside fresh pancakes and omelettes, while dinner menus bring Scandinavian herring platter, Indian-spiced butterfish, Irish stew, Norwegian salmon, and braised venison. You also have Far East specialities and al fresco dining to enjoy during your time at sea. Indulge yourself in some retail therapy, relax in a hot tub and unwind in a welcoming bar or traditional lounge. You can entertain yourself with swimming, ballroom dancing, spa sessions, and card games during the day before spending the evening watching live comedy acts and music performances. A cruise on Boudicca offers you close-up views and limitless luxury.

Food
On Boudicca, you have the chance to experience some of the best dining at sea. Choose from one of three main dining rooms — Tintagel Restaurant, The Heligan Room and Four Seasons Restaurant — which all offer a choice of high-quality food and varied menus each night. The Grill lets you relax poolside and dine al fresco with dishes here including: shrimp salad, burgers, blueberry cheesecake, grilled seafood, and fillet steak. Head to Secret Garden Café to enjoy a relaxed buffet-dining experience, or The Bookmark Cafe for espressos, teas and luxury chocolates.

Drink
During the day, The Marquee Bar offers refreshing drinks — including premium gins — to enjoy in the sun. One of the favourite spots for guests to have an early-evening drink is The Observatory, which offers a relaxing pianist, welcoming atmosphere and views of the sunset. Head to the traditional British-style Morning Light Pub for a relaxed and informal ambience where you can enjoy good company, then go to Lido Lounge for a range of beers, spirits and cocktails. The highlight of most nights is Neptune Lounge where there are cabarets, live music, bright costumes, and dancing shows. Or for some peace and quiet, try Iceni Room which offers leather seats along with tea and coffee making facilities.

Entertainment
Fred. Olsen's entertainment venues include swimming pools, hot tubs, spa, sauna, gym, shops, library, cards room, arts and crafts sessions, and golf nets. During the evening, head to Neptune Lounge where you can enjoy singers, dancers, comedians, and magicians. There's also the casino which features roulette and blackjack.
Day 1: Dover, UK
Arrive at Dover and embark on board Boudicca.
Day 2: At Sea
Day 3: Kiel Canal Transit, Germany
The Kiel Canal in Germany is the world's busiest waterway. This impressive 98km stretch of freshwater canal starts at Brunsbuttel and runs through Schleswig-Holstein to Kiel-Holtenau, linking the North Sea with the Baltic Sea. The Kiel Canal is the basis for trade between the Baltic countries and the rest of the world.
Day 4: Ronne, Denmark
Ronne is the largest town on the Danish island of Bornholm in the Baltic Sea. Get a sense of history on a visit to Hammerhus castle ruins, Bornholms Forsvarsmuseum, and Bornholms Museum. Visit Nylars Runkirke church, one of Bornholm's four iconic round churches, and look up to the Ronne’s elevated 19th-century Sankt Nicolai Kirke with its witch's-hat tower. See the striking works on display at Bornholm Art Museum and watch master artisans turn clay into beautiful works of art at Hjorths Fabrik ceramics museum. Venture further afield to Opalsoen lake to ride the zip line 43-metres down over the water or gaze in awe at the dramatic granite rock formations on Klippeoen (Rock Island).
Day 5: Visby, Sweden
Sweden's vibrant capital city, Stockholm, spans an archipelago of 14 islands on the Baltic Sea coastline. Filled with more than 40 bridges and many galleries, museums, gardens, and parks, this city is perfect for exploring. The walled town of Visby sits proudly on the island of Gotland in the Baltic Sea. This UNESCO World Heritage Site is famed for its medieval trading houses, 17th and 18th-century timber buildings, and quaint cobblestoned streets. Tour the 700-year old walls that encircle the town and admire the 44 defensive towers that dot along the route. Admire the medieval ruins of St Nicolai and St Karin churches and the ancient St Mary's Cathedral. Pay a visit to the amazing exhibits at Gotlands Museum and view the 19th and 20th-century artworks at Konstmuseet Museum. Relax with a coffee as you watch the world go by in the vibrant Stora Torget main square.
Day 6: Stockholm, Sweden
Looking for culture? Visit Vasa Museum, The Royal Palace, Drottningholm Palace, and Skansen — the world's first open-air museum. If you're a music fan, head to the popular ABBA Museum or go to Brunnsviken for a beautiful lake surrounded by cafes and botanical gardens. There are more than 1,000 restaurants dotted across the city, as well as streets of boutiques and designer stores on Drottninggatan — including the Nordiska Kompaniet and Åhléns department stores.
Day 7: Cruising Stockholm Archipelago, Sweden and Mariehamn, Finland
Mariehamn is the capital of Aland, an autonomous territory located on a peninsula to the south of Finland. This Swedish-speaking town is home to the Esplanden Boulevard, running from Vasterhamn to Osterhamn, where you can admire Sankt Goran's Kyrka and several old ship owners’ houses. Head to Torggatan precinct with its shops, restaurants, cafes and also the Sjalvstyrelsegarden - the region's seat of power. Walk up the hill to the nearby town hall passing the Tsarinna Maria Aleksandrovna statue, after whom the city is named. Explore Osterhamn with its marina and Maritime Quarter; here you'll find the Art Museum, Aland Maritime Museum, and the four-masted Museumship Pommern.
Day 8: At sea
Day 9: Copenhagen, Denmark
Copenhagen, Denmark's capital city, is your next port of call. Ride the old-style amusement rides at Tivoli Gardens or get up close to colourful marine life at National Aquarium Denmark. Shop 'til you drop along the world's longest pedestrian shopping street - Strøget. A tour of the Carlsberg Brewery is a popular choice or enjoy family-fun at Dyrehavsbakken amusement park. Kronborg Castle and Christiansborg Palace on Slotsholmen Island are a must-see for culture fans. If you fancy something different, why not head out to the workshops, galleries and organic eateries at Freetown Christiania? No trip to Copenhagen would be complete without a photo opportunity at the world-famous Little Mermaid statue.
