The Ship
A cruise with Cunard evokes a long maritime history and an imitable reputation that provides you with an unmissable voyage. Queen Mary 2 is the flagship of Cunard's fleet. Her impeccable service, elegant staterooms and traditional yet contemporary environment set the standard in the world of cruising.
Cunard's renowned White Star Service means that you receive the best in hospitality alongside plenty of space, high-quality décor and modern facilities to make each journey enjoyable. White-gloved waiters serve fresh scones, finger sandwiches and premium refreshments for afternoon tea in the Queens Room, and you can enjoy fine dining every evening at the ship's range of world-class restaurants.
Experience virtual rides into outer space at the ship's full-scale planetarium, watch West End style shows at Royal Court Theatre, and enjoy dancing and cocktail evenings at the large and elegant ballroom.
Relax in luxury on Queen Mary 2 and let Cunard take care of you.
Food
Britannia Restaurant provides an exquisite gourmet menu and impeccable level of service for breakfast, lunch and dinner. The neighbouring Britannia Club Restaurant is just as grand, but offers a more intimate dining experience. Menus here include salmon and shrimp ceviche, spaghetti carbonera, broiled lobster tail, and mango and passionfruit crème brûlée. Queens Grill Restaurant — reserved for guests staying in a Queens Grill Suite — features an incredibly personal service and dining times of your choice. Dine at Princess Grill Restaurant for dishes such as pan-roasted halibut, duck a l'orange and lobster with a selection of fine wines.
Kings Court Restaurant features self-service meals and convenient late-night buffets, while The Verandah serves contemporary French cuisine created from seasonal ingredients. Enjoy afternoon tea at Queens Room, handmade pastries and champagne at Carinthia Lounge, and coffee and cake at Sir Samuel's.
Drink
Queen Mary 2 has a venue to suit quiet after-dinner cocktails, refreshing afternoon teas and celebratory glasses of champagne. Veuve Clicquot Champagne Bar is a highlight for any voyage on Queen Mary 2 that offers guests seven diverse champagnes accompanied by luxury caviar. Overlooking the bow of the ship is Commodore Club where you can relax with your favourite tipple watching the sunsets. The extensive menu here includes: run cocktails, classic gins, signature martinis, premium vodkas, and exclusive daiquiris. Why not try the Martini Mixology or Whisky Tasting classes on offer here, too? Head to the Golden Lion Pub for a traditional English atmosphere. On offer here you have ales, lagers, ciders, spirits, wines, darts, karaoke, live sports, and classic pub lunches including cottage pie and fish and chips.
Entertainment
While at sea, you can enjoy fitness classes, swimming, golfing, shuffleboard, and tennis. Make the most of the workshops available from the Insights Programme which features world-renowned guest speakers and RADA stage performers. Children can attend the kids' clubs while you relax with a massage, facial or sauna at Canyon Ranch SpaClub. Admire outer space at the planetarium, read at the library, and shop at a range of luxury boutiques on board, too.
Evenings bring live music across the ship — including a pianist in Commodore Club, a jazz band in Chart Room and a string quartet in Queens Room. The Queens Room also has a large dance floor featuring professional dance lessons. End your day at G32 nightclub — with themed music from the 60s, 70s and 80s — or try something more relaxing with a show at Royal Court Theatre or game of poker at the casino.
