Holland America Line's ms Koningsdam made a splash when she launched in April 2016. The first of the Pinnacle-class ships, ms Koningsdam continues Holland America's high-class traditions and signature service with the addition of light-filled spaces and chic interiors. On-board innovations such as the Music Walk entertainment complex, two-level Magrodome pool area and the impressive three deck high glass-roofed Atrium, add to your on-board enjoyment.

ms Koningsdam's restaurants and cafes showcase a world of flavours and styles. The casual Lido Market features themed stations for grab and go options and freshly-made fast food, or tuck into signature burgers by the pool at Dive-In. Authentic deli sandwiches, thin crust pizzas and colourful salads are served at New York Deli & Pizza, or indulge in freshly-made iced desserts at Gelato.
The Dining Room spans two decks with a copper-sheathed wine tower as its showpiece. The menu combines signature dishes, classic favourites, vegetarian options and regionally-inspired cuisine with the option of pre-set seating and dining times or "As You Wish" dining. Enjoy farm-to-table style dinners at the Culinary Arts Centre, or a la carte French seafood classics at the intimate Sel de Mer brasserie. Dine with family and friends spartire-style with authentic Italian dishes to share at Canaletto. Savour exotic oriental cuisine and sushi at Tamarind, or a romantic dining experience at Pinnacle Grill.
There is a variety of bars and lounges on board ms Koningsdam. The Dutch Cafe combines a blue and white Delftware decor with Dutch pale lagers, freshly-brewed coffee and traditional snacks. The Lido and Sea View Bars are ideal for poolside drinks and mocktails, or step one deck up to enjoy cocktails with a view at Panorama Bar. The refined Explorer's Bar is the perfect spot to while away time sipping a gin and tonic and exotic liqueurs. The Crow's Nest showcases panoramic vistas by day, transforming into an intimate bar for signature cocktails after dark.

The Music Walk stages are the heartbeat of the night-time scene - from chamber music and recitals at Lincoln Centre Stage and Memphis style funk and soul tunes at BB Kings's Blue Club/Queen's Lounge, to interactive shows and live music from the past five decades at Billboard Onboard. Day 1: UK to Fort Lauderdale/Miami, Florida
Fly from your chosen UK airport to Fort Lauderdale and take a coach transfer to the port. Board ms Koningsdam and set sail for the Caribbean.
Day 4: Philipsburg, St Maarten
The ship drops anchor today at St Maarten's Dutch capital city - Philipsburg. Stroll along the shops on bustling Front Street or enjoy a couple of hours’ beach time on Great Bay beach. Fly through the trees at the Fly Zone at Loterie Farm or explore the island by quad bike. See local plant and animal life at St Maarten Zoological and Botanical Garden, and caterpillars and butterflies at the Butterfly Farm. You can also swim with dolphins at Dolphin Discovery Anguilla or admire heart-stopping views in the Pic du Paradis hills.
Day 5: Castries, St Lucia & Scenic Cruising
Arrive in Castries, the capital city of St Lucia. Step ashore and shop for bargains at La Place Carenage Shopping Plaza in downtown Castries, or venture to the heart of the city to the vibrant Central Market. Pay a visit to the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception, Derek Walcott Square and the Government House; before climbing to the top of Morne Fortune to view Fort Charlotte. Spend a few hours at Vigie Beach or head south to Marigot Bay. Take an island tour and admire the majestic Piton Mountains, snorkel in the crystal-clear waters of Half-Moon Bay, or enjoy a picnic on a lemon grass lawn at Pigeon Island National Park.
Day 6: Bridgetown, Barbados
It's easy to see why Barbados is known as 'Little England' with its Georgian houses, Lord Nelson Statue and Parliament Square. Indulge in retail therapy on Broad Street, admire stunning views and rugged island landscapes on a jeep island safari, or visit the dramatic stalactites and stalagmites of Harrison's Cave. For a once-in-a-lifetime experience - sail on a catamaran to swim with once-endangered hawksbill and green sea turtles.
Day 7: Fort-de-France, Martinique & Daylight passing Mount Pelee
Today, the ship docks in Fort de France, the capital of Martinique. Gaze in awe at the stained-glass windows at St-Louis Cathedral, before visiting La Savane Park to admire the Empress Josephine statue and nearby Fort St-Louis. Shop for local handicrafts at Le Grand Marche or explore the designer perfume and fashion boutiques on Rue Victor Schoelcher. Spend some time at Habitation Clement - part plantation/part rum distillery/and part museum and heritage site! Travel to the south-west of the island to view the white stone effigies at Anse Cafard Slave Memorial.
Day 8: St John’s, Antigua
St. John's on Antigua is your next stop. This pretty capital city not only gives you access to Antigua's 365 stunning beaches, but is also packed with attractions including English Harbour and the historic Nelson's Dockyard. A visit to the colourful St. John's street market is a must, and you also find great shopping and dining in Heritage Quay. Travel to Shirley Heights Lookout for superb views of English and Falmouth Harbours. A 90-minute ferry ride from Bryson Wharf takes you to Antigua's sister island, Barbuda, to explore the Arawak Caves and Frigate Bird Sanctuary.
Day 9: St Thomas, Us Virgin Islands
Arguably the prettiest Virgin Island, St Thomas boasts plenty of picture-perfect beaches. Visit Magen’s Bay, voted one of the world's top ten most beautiful beaches; or explore the coral World Marine Park with its three-level underwater observatory. Experience the colourful wonders of snorkelling in the crystal blue waters or just lie back and enjoy the sand and sunshine on the island’s many beaches. Venture up Mountain Top and admire the panoramic views of surrounding islands and get lost in the bustling atmosphere. Don’t forget to browse the shops for bargains in jewellery, perfume and souvenirs.
Day 11: Half Moon Cay (Private Island), Bahamas
Today, explore the tropical island of Half Moon Cay, which sits ten miles south-east of the Bahamas' capital city — Nassau. This private-island paradise was bought by Holland America Line in 1996 and most of it remains a protected wildlife sanctuary! Enjoy white sand, clear sea, waterfront bars, and exciting experiences — as well as the bustling Straw Market where you can buy local crafts and souvenirs. Ride a horse along the shore or get close to the creatures in Stingray Cove. You can have fun on the slides at Half Moon Lagoon Aqua Park; take a boat trip to the uninhabited Treasure Chest Island; snorkel alongside colourful fish; and visit the impressive Elkhorn Reef during your time here.
Day 12: Fort Lauderdale/Miami to UK
Your cruise comes to an end in Fort Lauderdale where you disembark. Take a coach transfer to the airport for your flight back to the UK.
