Overview Itinerary
The Ship
Explorer of the Seas joined the Royal Caribbean fleet in October 2000. A recent makeover has added exciting new features including an outdoor cinema screen, FlowRider surf simulator, virtual balconies in interior rooms, and tasty new dining venues. The fourteen passenger decks are jam-packed with highlights - from the stylish Royal Promenade to the family-friendly fun, amazing leisure facilities, tasty culinary experiences, and amazing evening entertainment. Days at sea are the perfect time to explore the ship. Escape to the tranquil surroundings of the adult-only Solarium to unwind in the whirlpools, or indulge in a rejuvenating facial in Vitality at Sea Spa. Show off your surfing skills on the FlowRider or scale the dizzy heights of the rock climbing wall. Glide across the ice at the ice skating rink or practice your golf swing at Explorer Dunes Golf Course. Discover fun times for tots to teens in the Adventure Ocean play area, Optix Teen Disco, and Video Arcade. A full programme of excursions and adventures also await at your ports of call.

Food
Explorer of the Seas offers a variety of flavours and dining styles. Opt for an early or late sitting or My Time Dining in the three-tier Sapphire dining room to enjoy a daily-changing menu of culinary treats. Windjammer Marketplace hosts serve-yourself casual dining with the food islands and new, interactive stations showcasing international culinary delights. The ship's speciality restaurants enhance the onboard gastronomic experiences. Chops Grille offers a menu of premium steaks, fresh seafood, and signature desserts. Step inside the 1950s-style American diner Johnny Rockets for gourmet burgers, fries, and milkshakes. Izumi Japanese Cuisine combines sushi and sashimi with Hot Rock Plates, sukiyaki and more. Tuck into rustic Tuscan dishes with a contemporary twist in the casual setting of Giovanni's Table.

Drink
Explorer of the Seas offers bars and lounges to suit your every mood. Sip exotic cocktails and ice-cold beers at the Pool Bar and Solarium Bar. Savour drinks with a sea view at Sky Bar or Crown & Kettle Pub offers a range of imported beers and ales. Chat with friends over drinks in the nautically-themed Schooner Bar or relax with an after-dinner cognac in Connoisseur Club. Celebrate with classic cocktails in the 1960s vibe of R Bar or watch sports events with a beer in The Tavern. Viking Crown Lounge combines spectacular vistas by day and turns into a lively dance club at night.

Entertainment
Evenings on Explorer of the Seas offer something for everyone. Broadway-style productions light up the stage each night in the Palace Theatre, and there are weekly themed events on the Royal Promenade. Star Lounge offers lively dancing, live music and entertainment, or take a chance at the roulette wheel and slot machines in Casino Royale. Watch first-run movies and big-time sporting events at the outdoor movie screen. End the night in style with dancing at the late-night DJ parties in Dizzy's Jazz Club.

Fly from you chosen UK airport to Miami and be privately transferred to your four-star hotel for 1 one-night stay.
Day 2: Miami, Florida
After check out, be privately transferred to the port to board Royal Caribbean's Explorer of the Seas for your nine-night cruise to the Caribbean.
Day 3: At Sea
Day 4: Labadee, Haiti
Labadee is situated on the north coast of Hispaniola. This 260-acre private beach resort is just waiting to be explored; discover the coastline on a jet ski, see the spectacular views from the sky on the thrilling Dragon's Breath Flight Line, or ride through the dense island foliage on the Dragon's Tail Coaster alpine coaster. Enjoy water-based fun galore at Arawak Aqua Park and on the Dragon's Splash Waterslide or simply relax on the beach or in a private cabana.
Day 5: At Sea
Day 6: Kralendijk, Bonaire
Kralendijk is the main port on the island of Bonaire in the Netherland Antilles. The population in Kralendijk is about 3,000 and there's even an uninhabited island — Klein Bonaire — not far from its coastline. During your time at Kralendijk, try fishing, kayaking, snorkelling, and windsurfing; visit Bonaire National Marine Park; and take a horse riding or off-road adventure tour to explore the area. You can visit landmarks including the protestant church and government house — both built in the 1800s — or stroll around the pretty Wilhelmina Park, which is named in honour of the former Dutch queen. Bari Reef is a great place for diving, while Lac Bay is a popular spot to have lunch and drinks in the sunshine.
Day 7: Oranjestad, Aruba
Today, you can admire the picture-perfect beaches and exotic flowers of Oranjestad — Aruba's main port and capital city. Stroll around the Dutch colonial buildings and shop for chocolates, Dutch-made porcelain, and jewellery — particularly gold which was mined here during the 19th century. If you love the sand and sea, you have Eagle Beach, Baby Beach and Arashi Beach all within easy reach. Step on the ferry to Palm Island and relax on white sand or splash around at the water park. Take an off-road vehicle tour of the wild north-east coast or visit a former gold mine. You can also explore the Quadiriki and Fontein Caves at Arikok National Park; get close to animals at Donkey Sanctuary Aruba and Aruba Ostrich Farm; and dine at one of the city's seafood restaurants on the waterfront.
Day 8: Willemstad, Curacao
Arrive in Willemstad — founded in 1634 and now the capital city of Curaçao. Explore the Hato Caves or see beautiful flora and fauna at Christoffel National Park. There are sea lions to visit at Curaçao Sea Aquarium; lots of shops at Punda; and a church and museum at the nearly 400-year-old Fort Amsterdam. Stroll by pastel-coloured buildings with a hint of Dutch design in the city centre and head to Maritime Museum or Kura Hulanda to learn about the island's history. You can buy souvenirs from Willemstad's floating market and even visit a distillery to try the local liquor. Sunbathe on the beach, have a go at snorkelling and diving, swim with dolphins, and dine on cuisine influenced by Europe, the Caribbean and Latin America.
Day 9 - 10: At Sea
Day 11: Miami, Florida to UK
Today your cruise comes to an end. Disembark and be privately transferred to the airport for your return flight back to the UK.
