The Ship
Fred. Olsen's stunning Braemar ship offers a remarkable balance of relaxation and activity. For active guests, there are golf nets, arts and crafts sessions, and walks along the scenic promenade — perfect for a moonlit meander or sunny stroll. You can even treat yourself to some duty-free shopping at the ship's designer boutiques, too. Braemar comes alive with dazzling shows and live music in the evening. Food
There are casual and fine dining venues to choose from on Braemar. The Thistle Restaurant features ocean views, a varied a la carte menu, and elegant Gala Dinner evenings. Grampian Restaurant offers a sophisticated dining setting, while Palms Cafe serves casual buffets of international cuisines. For al fresco light bites including chicken, burgers, pizzas, ice creams, and fish and chips, try Marquee Bar. Go to The Grill for beef and onion pie, chicken Caesar salad and blueberry cheesecake at lunchtime, as well as succulent steaks and tasty panna cotta for dinner. A menu of teas, mochas, lattes, and espressos are on offer at The Bookmark Cafe — you can treat yourself to its range of luxury chocolates including pralines and champagne truffles, too. Drink
While cruising on Braemar, Coral Club is the place to go for afternoon tea and entertainment day or night. Lido Bar offers a relaxing atmosphere and refreshments on the terrace, while Observatory Lounge features panoramic views, piano music and tasty beverages. Head to Neptune Lounge for dazzling entertainment and a large choice of alcoholic and soft drinks. If you fancy a traditional British tavern environment, there's the lively Morning Light Pub. For sangria, cocktails, beers, lagers, ciders, wines, and soft drinks beside the pool, you have the stylish Marquee Pool Bar.

Entertainment
For entertainment, take part in creative activities at the arts and crafts room or join in yoga, Pilates and fitness classes at the gym. The port city of Bordeaux sits on the Garonne Rive in south-western France, at the heart one of the country's wine-growing regions. Take a stroll around the UNESCO listed Old Town and climb the 229 steps of Pey-Berland Tower at Gothic Cathedrale Saint-Andre. Stop by Place de la Bourse – home to the Miroir d'Eau reflecting pool and the Three Graces fountain. Escape to the tranquil surroundings of Jardin Botanique de Bordeaux or admire the artworks at Musee des Beaux-Arts de Bordeaux. Day 5: Santander, Spain
The vibrant port of Santander sits on Spain's north coast. Cantabria's capital city offers pristine urban beaches, lively shopping districts, a bustling bar and restaurant scene, and a list of enticing sights and attractions. Alameda de Oviedo Boulevard is lined with the best shops and bars. See the 20th-century Royal Palace of La Magdalena that sits on a peninsula, visit the Gothic-style Santander Cathedral with its octagonal roof, and wander the Paseo de Pereda with its elegant seafront gardens.
Day 6: Aviles, Spain
Aviles sits on the Aviles estuary at the heart of Spain's Asturias region. Modern architecture rubs shoulders with the old town’s heritage buildings; perfectly matched by unspoilt beaches, mountain landscapes, and a lively local culture. Pay a visit to the unique and contemporary Centro Niemeyer for exhibitions, events, films, concerts and shows. Take a stroll around Plaza de Espana with its impressive Town Hall and Palacio de Ferrara or escape to the tranquil environs of Parque de Ferrara. Discover the unusual combination of musical instruments and vintage cars at Alfercam Museum or step back in time at Museo de la Historia Urbana de Aviles.
Day 7: La Coruna, Spain
La Coruña overlooks the Bay of Coruña in the north-west corner of Spain. Step ashore and visit the Tower of Hercules, Castillo de San Anton, and Castillo de San Diego. Explore the Roman wall, historical buildings and the medieval Church of Santiago in Ciudad Vieja. Get a culture hit at the Museum of Sacred Art, Archaeological Museum and Military Museum. People-watch at La Marina and Plaza Maria Pita, or relax on the Playa Riazor and Playa del Orzan beaches. Enjoy some family fun at Aquarium Finisterrae, Science Museum and Domus — an interactive museum. Venture further afield to visit the UNESCO World Heritage sites of Santiago de Compostela, Betanzos and Ferrol.
