Day 3: Bergen, Norway
The charming port city of Bergen is framed by seven hills on Norway's south-west shore. Bergen’s bustling waterfront and narrow streets of colourful half-timbered houses combine with a proud musical and maritime heritage.
Ride the funicular railway up Mount Floyen for city views. Visit Troldhaugen Museum to see Edvard Grieg's musical heritage comes to life, or explore the artwork on display at KODE. The 900-year old Bryggen, a wharf that features museums and pubs, guides you through the city's sea-faring past, while locally-caught seafood can be found at Bergen Fish Market. Day 4: Flam, Aurlandsfjord, Norway, Cruising Naeroyfjord to Dyrdal
Surround yourself in the beautiful fjords of Norway and delight in the wonders of the natural landscapes of Flam, Aurlandsfjorden, and Sognefjord. Admire the fascinating panoramic views from 650 metres above Aurland Fjord at Stegastein viewpoint – a walkway that juts 30 metres out from the side of the mountain. Enjoy the UNESCO World Heritage landmark Naeroyfjord, a unique setting surrounded by mountains, waterfalls, and idyllic farms. Ride in style on the FjordSafari which offers an intimate experience of the Fjord Mountains at the picturesque World Heritage Site, or step aboard the Flam railway, described as one of the most beautiful train journeys in the world that takes you through stunning mountain scenery of valleys and waterfalls. Admire Stalheimsfossen waterfall up close which has a 126-metre tall Horsetail drop and is located in the village of Stalheim.
Day 5: Scenic cruising Nordfjord, Olden, Nordfjord, Cruising Hornelen, Nordfjord
Disembark at Olden — a pretty, peaceful village found on the Nordfjord. The gateway to the Jostedal Glacier — the largest glacier on the European mainland — Olden is a place of dramatic landscapes. Go hiking and see the Tjøtabreen glacier and 300m Volefossen Waterfall or take a coach trip to the stunning Briksdal Galcier. You can visit nearby Stryn — a popular skiing spot — found just across the fjord. Enjoy the quiet valleys, green hills and calm water before departing.
