Overview Itinerary
The Ship
Stepping onboard a Cunard ship opens up a world of traditional style cruising - where impeccable service, luxurious surroundings, top class facilities, and a 179-year heritage combine to bring you an experience like no other. Dine on gourmet cuisine, enrich your mind with the Cunard Insights programme, pamper yourself in an indulgent spa, explore exciting ports of call, and experience some of the best entertainment at sea. Queen Victoria joined the fleet in 2007, when she was launched by the Duchess of Cornwall. From her sleek black and white livery outside, to her luxurious and warm interior, plush carpets and sumptuous fabrics, she continues the traditions of the Cunard Line. She offers plenty of space but retains an air of intimacy, and blends exciting and modern facilities with the White Star Service that is synonymous with Cunard brand. Early 2015 saw her undergo a makeover with new carpets, mattresses and awnings, along with additional single cabins, and internet stations in the library. Queen Victoria starts the year with her Round the World voyage, and in spring and early autumn offers a selection of short break and seven night cruises from Southampton. During the summer months, Queen Victoria heads out to the Mediterranean to present an exciting mix of 14 and 21 night fly cruises, sailing from one of four historic cities – Athens, Rome, Istanbul and Venice. Winter sees her hot on the trail of winter sunshine with cruises to the Canary Islands from Southampton.

Food
The Britannia Restaurant is the main dining room for guests on Queen Victoria, providing gourmet cuisine and impeccable service. The Britannia Restaurant offers you the choice traditional style dining, with either an early or late seating, along with the option of any time dining, which allows you the flexibility to dine at your leisure. Queen Grill level staterooms come with a reserved table in the Queen Grill each evening; while Princess Grill stateroom guests have the option of any time dining in the Princess Grill from 6.30pm to 9.00pm. The Verandah restaurant offers contemporary French cuisine in stylish surrounding. The Lido presents relaxed style dining through the day, and in the evening partly transforms into one of three pop-up dining venues - there’s Asian fusion cuisine in Bamboo, spicy Indian fare in Coriander, or succulent steaks and seafood in Prime.

Drink
Whether you’re seeking a refreshing afternoon drink, a quiet after dinner cocktail, or a celebratory glass of champagne, the barmen in the bars and lounges onboard Queen Victoria are just waiting to serve you. The Veuve Clicquot Champagne Bar, which overlooks the Grand Lobby, is the ultimate place to celebrate a special occasion, or to simply treat yourself to a glass of bubbly from the condensed menu of seven champagnes. Overlooking the bow of the ship, the Commodore Club is the perfect spot to sit back and admire the sun setting over the horizon whilst sipping your favourite drink; or why not try the Martini Mixology or Whisky Tasting classes on offer here too? The Grand Lobby is the setting for Cafe Corinthia and its selection of refreshing teas, freshly brewed coffees and tempting pastries. The nautically themed Chart Room sits next door to the Britannia restaurant for pre-dinner drinks and cocktails. The Golden Lion is an authentic British pub, which combines a traditional pub lunch menu with ice cold beers and ciders. Whatever your tastes Queen Victoria is sure to wow you time and time again.

Entertainment
Queen Victoria can’t fail to impress with its amazing line-up of onboard entertainment. The Queens Room is the real heartbeat of the ship, serving Afternoon Tea in the daytime, and in the evening hosting Captain's cocktail parties and elegant balls. The Royal Court Theatre serves up an eclectic mix of entertainment - from lavish production shows to musical extravaganzas and cabaret acts. The Commodore Club offers piano music, or you can sit back and listen to jazz or classic music in the Chart Room. The Golden Lion brings together karaoke and pub quizzes in a laid back setting. For a relaxing evening, the Winter Garden is the place to be, whether it is sipping on a delicious cocktail or simply watching the world go by. Sitting beneath a glass-domed roof, the Hemisphere nightspot is the perfect spot to dance the night away to both a big band sound or the resident DJ.
