The Ship
Carnival Splendor joined the Carnival Cruises' fleet in July 2008. This fun-filled, family-style ship sets sail with a maximum of 3,012 passengers on board and boasts thirteen decks lined with luxury staterooms, vibrant bars and restaurants, great sports and leisure facilities, and thrilling entertainment options. Days at sea are your chance to enjoy the highlights of Carnival Splendor. Feeling active? Head to the Sports Deck for a run around the jogging track or work up a sweat in the Fitness Studio. Looking to relax? Unwind with a hot stone massage in Cloud 9 Spa or chill out in the tranquillity of the Serenity Adult-Only Retreat. What about the kids? Discover fun times for tots to teens on the Carnival Twister Waterslide and in the Splash Park, Camp Ocean, Circle C and Club 02. Famous for its scenic beaches and dramatic scenery, Maui is a paradise for surfers and walkers alike. Haleakala National Park is situated on the inactive Haleakala Volcano; the best time to visit is sunrise to see incredible views. Learn about local marine life at the Maui Ocean Centre which contains turtles, stingrays, and sharks. Visit Lahaina and Kaanapali Beach for sunbathing, dining, and open-air shopping at Whalers Village. Drive through rainforests and past waterfalls along the Hana Highway en-route to the remote village of Hana. Spend time on the unique black lava beach at Paiola Bay in Waianapanapa State Park or relax on the golden sands of Keawakapu Beach in Wailea.
Day 8: Honolulu, Hawaii
Honolulu is Hawaii's state capital and only major city. This bustling city is equally matched by the relaxing atmosphere of a Hawaiian island. Board a boat to the awe-inspiring Pearl Harbor & USS Arizona Memorial. Alternatively, head to the idyllic Hanauma Bay and relax on the horseshoe sands or snorkel in the welcoming turquoise waters. Explore the magical Diamond Head trail and head to the tuff cone volanic crater, where you’ll find the former fort boasting panoramic views. Gaze out to sea from the top of the Aloha Tower and eat your way through the streets of Chinatown. Browse at the world's largest open-air shopping centre at Ala Moana or visit the city's treasure-filled art museums.

Day 16: Guam, Micronesia
Guam is an US island territory in Micronesia in the Western Pacific. Stop by the Two Lovers Point 368-ft lookout point to gaze at panoramic vistas of the surrounding mountains and sea. Enjoy scuba diving, snorkelling, and swimming with dolphins at Fish Eye Marine Park. Pay a visit to UnderWater World Guam to see more than 2,000 marine creatures, comprising 80 different species. Discover the sheltered rocky seawater pools at Inarajan Natural Pool. Trace Guam's WWII history at War in the Pacific Historical Park and the island's Spanish colonial past at Fort Nuestra Senora de la Soledad. Visit the majestic Cathedral Basilica Holy Name of Mary with its stunning stained-glass windows and 17th-century statue. Well-known for its mesmerising waterfall, museum, children's rides, and cable car; Talofofo Falls is the ideal family day out.
Day 17 - 20 At Sea
Day 21: Kota Kinabalu, Malaysia
Kota Kinabalu sprawls between the South China Sea and the towering ramparts of the Crocker Range. The capital of Malaysia's Sabah State in Northern Borneo, the town dates from 1963 and occupies the site of Jesselton, the old British colonial capital. (Jesselton was razed during World War II.) More importantly, Kota Kinabalu is your gateway to the natural wonders of Northern Borneo. Offshore sit the five coral islands of Tunku Rahman National Park, a Mecca for hikers and divers. To the north is Mt. Kinabalu National Park, home to the highest mountain found between New Guinea and the Himalaya. On a clear day, one can stand on its summit and look across the South China Sea to the Philippines.

Day 23: Ho Chi Minh, Vietnam
Over three decades have passed since the Vietnam War ended with the fall of Saigon. Today, the name of this bustling metropolis on the Mekong River is Ho Chi Minh City. Yet, the essence of the city, a major trading centre since the 18th century, remains unchanged. The air is filled with the cries of street hawkers and honking horns. Bicycles, motorbikes and automobiles fly down the boulevards at dizzying speeds. And everywhere, friendly faces and warm greetings meet you.
Day 24 - 25: At Sea
Day 26: Singapore
Today your cruise comes to an end. Disembark and make your way to your four-star hotel for a 1 night stay.
Day 27: Singapore to UK
After check out, make your way to the airport for your return flight back to the UK.
