Day 2: Mossel Bay, South Africa
The harbour town of Mossel Bay sits on the Garden Route in South Africa's Western Cape. Enjoy panoramic views across the bay from both the 19th-century Cape St Blaize Lighthouse and the golden sands of Santos Beach. Pay a visit to the 500 year-old Post Office Tree, Maritime Museum, Shell Museum, Aquarium and Botanical Gardens at Bartolomeu Dias Museum Complex. Day 3: Port Elizabeth, South Africa
Step ashore and uncover a world of adventure and indigenous wildlife in and around Port Elizabeth. Climb the 204 steps to admire the views from the top of Campanile Memorial at Port Elizabeth Harbour. Follow the Route 67 trail - a collection of 67 art pieces that pay tribute to Nelson Mandela and the people and culture of the Eastern Cape - or take the 5km Donkin Heritage Trail to view 47 historical sites in the Old Hill area. Red Location Museum in New Brighton Township, Nelson Mandela Metropolitan Art Museum and Prince Alfred's Guard Memorial in St George's Park bring the city's historical and cultural past to life. Day 5: Richard's Bay, South Africa
Richards Bay is located in the KwaZulu-Natal area of South Africa. This port town sits on a 30 square kilometre lagoon on the Mhlathuze River and boasts one of the country's largest harbours and amazing wetland scenery. Spend a few hours soaking up the sun on the blue-flag Alkantstrand beach or visit the indigenous hippos and crocodiles at Richards Bay Game Reserve. Indulge in retail therapy at the Boardwalk Shopping Centre, or tuck into a platter of fresh fish and seafood on the Tuzi Gazi Waterfront.
Day 9: Pointe Des Galets, Reunion
Pointe des Galets is a cape in the north west of Reunion Island and is now entirely occupied by the town centre of Le Port. This impressive place is a favourite with lovers of history, progress, and industry; check out the hiking trails of the live volcano Piton de la Fournaise, Mafate, and the majestic views from Maido. Reunion National Park is a great way to experience nature at its finest or perhaps swim, snorkel, and relax on the powder-white shores of Plage de l'Hermitage. Spot sea turtles and tortoise at Kelonia, take pictures next to the flowing waters of Grand Galet Falls, and Tabit Pass is another way enthusiastic climbers can appreciate panoramic vistas.
Day 10: Port Louis, Mauritius
Taste a true slice of Mauritian life when you step ashore at the island's capital, Port Louis. This vibrant metropolis is the perfect spot to go shopping at the lively Central Market or to sample local delicacies and the island's 58 varieties of tea by Le Caudan Waterfront. Trace Mauritian history at Blue Penny Museum and view the photographic exhibits at Musee de la Photographie. Admire the gorgeous giant Victoria Water Lilies at the famous Pamplemousses Botanical Gardens or walk under the shade of the banyan trees at Jardins de la Compagnie on La Chausee Street. Day 13-14: Port Victoria, Seychelles
Set on Mahe Island; Victoria is the capital city of the Seychelles archipelago in the Indian Ocean. Stop by the vibrant Sir Selwyn Clarke Market to shop for spices, fresh fruit, art, and unique souvenirs. Enjoy a peaceful stroll around Seychelles National Botanical Gardens to spot endemic palms and orchids, giant tortoises, and fruit bats. Get a look at the Victoria Clocktower and the white sculpture which celebrates the city of Victoria; Bicentennial Monument. Take pictures next to the colourful Arul Mihu Navasakthi Vinayagar Temple. Head out to uninhabited Hodoul Island to appreciate the maritime museum and fascinating history associated with this stunning place.
Day 18: Muscat, Oman
Muscat, unlike a lot of her Arabian cousins, has managed to retain a scene of authenticity to the old ways. Where her more notable cousins have arrived into the 21st century with a skyline dominated by skyscrapers, shopping malls and hotels, Muscat has retained a lot more of her traditions and values of old. It is this aspect that allows her to captivate guests time and time again. Sail into the preserved historical waterfront and experience the traditional architecture of this calming seascape, hike through the terracotta coloured mountains or even visit the old town and discover the traditional souk and spice markets.
Day 19: Abu Dhabi, UAE
In the space of a generation Abu Dhabi has managed to transform herself from small fishing village into the thriving metropolis of today. A dramatic skyline of modern skyscrapers and exquisite hotels provides a contrast with the mosques and bazaars of old that can still be found here. Take a ride out to Ferrari World, the world’s largest indoor theme park providing thrills and fun for all the family, or why not take a Jeep Safari through the sand dunes surrounding the city.
Day 20: Dubai, UAE
Dubai, the world's fastest-growing global city with a vibrancy and a majesty all of its own. You’ll find all kinds of wonderful modern attractions here, including, at 2,722 feet, the world’s tallest building, Burj Khalifa, plus cutting-edge bars and nightclubs, a man made island in the shape of a giant palm tree, and unparalleled shopping opportunities.
Day 21: Dubai, UAE - UK
Disembark in Dubai and be transferred to the airport for your flight back to the UK
