Overview Itinerary
The Ship
The Oceania Cruises fleet welcomed Riviera in 2012. This intimate and luxurious cruise ship combines a country club atmosphere with high levels of personalised service. The magnificent Lalique Grand Staircase, sumptuous Ralph Lauren Home furnished Owner's Suites and designer touches throughout add a touch of glamour to your cruise experience. The eleven passenger decks combine innovative features and luxury accommodation with an eclectic mix of entertainment and a flavoursome dining scene. Days at sea are your chance to unwind and enjoy the on-board amenities. Relax on the pool deck, take it easy in the whirlpools, or indulge in a Thai massage in the Canyon Ranch SpaClub. Lose yourself in a book at the English-style library or sample New World wines at a wine tasting. Pick up painting tips from the artists-in-residence at the Artist Loft or experience hands-on cookery classes at The Culinary Centre. Days in port open up a world of famous sights, activities and culinary experiences.

Dine your way around the world in Riviera's restaurants and cafes. A daily-changing menu of European-inspired dishes and healthy options is served at your table in The Grand Dining Room. Enjoy a selection of internationally-inspired dishes in the informal setting of the alfresco Terrace Cafe. Tuck into All-American favourites by the pool at Waves Grill, or experience the traditional afternoon tea service at four o'clock sharp in Horizons. Relax with breakfast, lunch or dinner on your private balcony from the Room Service menu. Reserve a table in Polo Grill for dinner to savour freshly-cooked prime steaks and seafood, or enjoy authentic home-style Tuscan fare in Toscana. Jacques restaurant is styled on a Parisian bistro and serves Coq au Vin and rotisserie-roasted chicken, or dine on contemporary Asian specialities in Red Ginger restaurant. The exclusive Privee hosts private dinner parties for up to ten guests, with dishes available from both the Polo Grill and Toscana menus. Experience vintage tastings, wine seminars, and fine dining with wine pairings in the chic La Reserve by Wine Spectator venue.

There is a variety of bars and lounges on board Riviera. Illy coffee, pastries, homemade biscotti and finger sandwiches are served in Baristas coffee lounge. Waves Bar offers a selection of drinks and homemade gelato on the pool deck or enjoy piano music and cocktails in Martinis bar. Chat with new found friends over drinks in the Grand Bar or enjoy your favourite tipple at Casino Bar.

The evening music and entertainment suits all tastes. The Lounge hosts headline acts, music shows, magicians, comedians and jazz ensembles. Enjoy a live classical concert under the stars or show off your vocal talents at karaoke. Risk a few coins at the slot machines, roulette and blackjack tables in The Casino, before bringing your day to a close in style on the dance floor in Horizons.
Day 1: Fly UK - Miami, USA
Fly from your chosen UK airport to Miami and enjoy a transfer to the port to embark on board Riviera.
Day 2-3: At sea
Day 4: Oranjestad, Aruba
Today, you can admire the picture-perfect beaches and exotic flowers of Oranjestad — Aruba's main port and capital city. Stroll around the Dutch colonial buildings and shop for chocolates, Dutch-made porcelain, and jewellery — particularly gold which was mined here during the 19th century. If you love the sand and sea, you have Eagle Beach, Baby Beach and Arashi Beach all within easy reach. Step on the ferry to Palm Island and relax on white sand or splash around at the water park. Take an off-road vehicle tour of the wild north-east coast or visit a former gold mine. You can also explore the Quadiriki and Fontein Caves at Arikok National Park; get close to animals at Donkey Sanctuary Aruba and Aruba Ostrich Farm; and dine at one of the city's seafood restaurants on the waterfront.
Day 5: Kralendijk, Bonaire
Kralendijk is the main port on the island of Bonaire in the Netherland Antilles. The population in Kralendijk is about 3,000 and there's even an uninhabited island — Klein Bonaire — not far from its coastline. During your time at Kralendijk, try fishing, kayaking, snorkelling, and windsurfing; visit Bonaire National Marine Park; and take a horse riding or off-road adventure tour to explore the area. You can visit landmarks including the protestant church and government house — both built in the 1800s — or stroll around the pretty Wilhelmina Park, which is named in honour of the former Dutch queen. Bari Reef is a great place for diving, while Lac Bay is a popular spot to have lunch and drinks in the sunshine.
Day 6: St. George’s, Grenada
Stop at St. George's on the 'Spice Island' of Grenada. Nestling alongside horseshoe-shaped Carenage harbour, the cobbled streets of St. George's are lined with pretty pastel-coloured heritage buildings. Step back in time at Grenada National Museum or explore Fort George and Fort Frederick. Head to the golden sand of Grand Anse Beach for a morning of sunbathing. The submerged gallery at Underwater Sculpture Park is a unique sight, or you can discover how the island's spices are grown and processed at Dougalston Spice Estate. Venture further to view local wildlife at Grand Etang National Park and cascading waters at Annandale Falls.
Day 7: Bridgetown, Barbados
It's easy to see why Barbados is known as 'Little England' with its Georgian houses, Lord Nelson Statue and Parliament Square. Indulge in retail therapy on Broad Street, admire stunning views and rugged island landscapes on a jeep island safari, or visit the dramatic stalactites and stalagmites of Harrison's Cave. For a once-in-a-lifetime experience - sail on a catamaran to swim with once-endangered hawksbill and green sea turtles.
Day 8: Castries, St. Lucia
Arrive in Castries, the capital city of St Lucia. Step ashore and shop for bargains at La Place Carenage Shopping Plaza in downtown Castries, or venture to the heart of the city to the vibrant Central Market. Pay a visit to the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception, Derek Walcott Square and the Government House; before climbing to the top of Morne Fortune to view Fort Charlotte. Spend a few hours at Vigie Beach or head south to Marigot Bay. Take an island tour and admire the majestic Piton Mountains, snorkel in the crystal-clear waters of Half-Moon Bay, or enjoy a picnic on a lemon grass lawn at Pigeon Island National Park.
Day 9: Basseterre, St. Kitts
Basseterre is the capital city of St Kitts and Nevis in the West Indies. Explore the shops and bars of The Circus or pay a visit to the cathedral, courthouse, and fountain of Independence Square. On the outskirts of the city, you'll discover Fairview Great House and Botanical Gardens and to the northwest are Romney Manor and the Wingfield Estate. Take a ride on the St Kitts Scenic Railway to discover deep ravines, black-sand beaches, and Mount Liamuiga volcano. Admire the views over sugarcane fields from the 17th-century Brimstone Hill Fortress National Park.
Day 10: Gustavia, St. Barts
Gustavia is the main town and capital of the Caribbean island of St Barts. Step ashore and discover red-roofed buildings and streets lined with chic shops, gourmet restaurants, and treasure-filled galleries. Indulge in retail therapy in the duty-free shops or explore Le Ti-Marche open-air market. Visit Fort Gustave and the town's oldest building - Vieux Clocher. Stop by St Bartholomew's Anglican Episcopal Church and view the nearby 10-ton English anchor. Step back in time at Musee Territorial and the Wall House Museum. Spend a few hours sunbathing on Shell Beach or don a snorkel and explore underwater delights at Gouverneur Beach.
