Day 1: Fly UK - Dubai, United Arab Emirates
Fly from your selected UK airport to Dubai. On arrival transfer to the port to embark Celebrity Constellation.
Day 2: Dubai, UAE
Your Arabian adventure begins in Dubai, the world's fastest-growing global city with a vibrancy and a majesty all of its own. You’ll find all kinds of wonderful modern attractions here, including, at 2,722 feet, the world’s tallest building, Burj Khalifa, plus cutting-edge bars and nightclubs, a man made island in the shape of a giant palm tree, and unparalleled shopping opportunities.
Day 3: Muscat, Oman
Muscat, unlike a lot of her Arabian cousins, has managed to retain a scene of authenticity to the old ways. Where her more notable cousins have arrived into the 21st century with a skyline dominated by skyscrapers, shopping malls and hotels, Muscat has retained a lot more of her traditions and values of old. It is this aspect that allows her to captivate guests time and time again. Sail into the preserved historical waterfront and experience the traditional architecture of this calming seascape, hike through the terracotta coloured mountains or even visit the old town and discover the traditional souk and spice markets.
Day 6-7: Mumbai (Bombay), India
Mumbai, formerly Bombay, is located on India’s western coast. Stop by the iconic Gateway of India on Mumbai Harbour, built to commemorate the state visit of King George V in 1924, or explore the ancient cave temples on nearby Elephanta Island. Climb to the top of Malabar Hill to visit the incredible terraced hanging gardens and the famous Tower of Silence. Get up close to the local wildlife at Borivali National Park or spend a few hours on Chowpatty Beach. For a retail fix, explore the bustling Mahatma Jyotiba Phule Market or visit the chic boutiques in the heart of the city.
Day 8: Goa (Mormugao), India
A distinct European flavour and some of the best beaches in the country have made Goa a firm favourite with tourists the world over. Take a walk down the white sandy beaches and take part in some of the extensive water-sports of the sears such as water-boarding and parasailing. Why not take a trip into the city and visit the old town where you can still clearly see the Portuguese influence of the past, with white washed crumbling churches such as the Basilica of Born Jesus providing the area is UNESCO listed status.
Day 10: Cochin, India
Cochin, also known as Kochi, is situated in India’s south west coastal state of Kerala. The city is a mix of cultures and influences: you will find giant fishing nets, ancient mosques, Portuguese style homes, and the crumbling remains of the British Raj. Visit Kerala Kathakali Centre to experience traditional masked Kathakali dance shows or pay homage to the mother goddess, Shakti Devi, at the famous Chottanikkara Devi Temple. Explore the beautiful lake of Vembavad, where you’ll find a stunning mix of tropical vegetation and traditional rural life.
Day 11: Colombo, Sri Lanka
Once seen as the gateway to Sri Lanka, Colombo, with its growing diversity and stunning beaches, is now a popular tourist destination. Take a train ride along the coast to Mount Lavinia, then spend the afternoon relaxing on a stunning golden beach. Or explore the Talangama Wetland, a haven for nature lovers. Enjoy lush scenery and watch a cricket match at the beautiful seafront park of Galle Face Green, then enjoy a stylish afternoon tea at the historic Galle Face Hotel, after admiring the exquisite hand carved doors at its entrance.
Day 14: Phuket, Thailand
The ship drops anchor today on the island of Phuket. Be sure to head to the picturesque Patong Beach along the western coast — perhaps the most popular attraction. Take a short drive and see the famous Simon Cabaret show with its full ladyboy cast. For gorgeous scenic views over the island visit the Big Buddha statue or watch the sunset from Promthep Cape. Take a trip through the historical Old Phuket Town with its various cafes, restaurants, museums, shrines and temples. A visit to 19th-century Wat Chalong Temple is a truly magical experience.
Day 16: Singapore
