Siracusa, Sicily
Siracusa, otherwise known as Syracuse, is a picturesque city on the Ionian coast of Sicily which is based on both the mainland and on an island. Cross the bridge over the canal to Ortigia Island, the heart of the city, which is packed with Baroque palazzos, piazzas, and fountains. The centrepiece is the cathedral, an iconic building built on top of the ancient Temple of Athena. Head back over to the mainland to the Neapolis Archaeological Park, home to the ancient Roman Amphitheatre, Teatro Greco, and Orecchio di Dionisio. For scenery, relax on one of the numerous bathing platforms around the city and gaze out at the panoramic views of the spectacular Ionian Sea.

Explore the city's fascinating history at Alexandria National Museum and admire the impressive Abu Abbas al-Mursi Mosque. Stroll along the Corniche in downtown Alexandria and meander through the idyllic Montazah Gardens. No visit to Alexandria would be complete without exploring the stunning Bibliotheca Alexandrina - complete with a re-creation of the Great Library and also the Manuscript Museum, Antiquities Museum, Science Museum, and the Planetarium. Haifa is Israel's third-largest city and sits on the slopes of Mount Carmel. This bustling port city is famous as home to the UNESCO-listed Baha'i World Centre, with its gold-domed Shrine of the Baha’i and surrounding picturesque gardens. Ride the cable car up to Stella Maris Monastery to gaze at the ornate St Elijah frescoes, paintings of prophets Isaiah and Ezekiel, and the Madonna of Mount Carmel figurine. Opposite here you can also follow the path down to Elijah's Cave, an important pilgrimage site. Enjoy a culture-fix at Mane Katz Museum and nearby Tikotin Museum of Japanese Art. You can also spend time shopping and eating around Ben-Gurion Street in Downtown Haifa, soaking up the sun on BatGalim and HaCarmel Beaches, or enjoying an interactive science experience at Madatech.

Sail into Ashdod in Israel, gateway to the Middle Eastern city of Jerusalem. Situated on a plateau west of the Dead Sea, Jerusalem has been a place of pilgrimage and worship for Christians, Jews, and Muslims dating back to the biblical era. Explore the Old City's religious sites including the Temple Mount and the nearby Western Wall, Church of the Holy Sepulchre, and Dome of the Rock. Discover the Garden of Gethsemane, the Church of All Nations, and the Wailing Wall. Travel through the Jaffa Gate to view New Jerusalem, the Israeli Parliament, and Supreme Court before paying a visit to Israel Museum and Yad Vashem, the official memorial to the victims of the Holocaust.

Limassol, Cyprus
Limassol on the south coast of Cyprus is today's port of call. This lively resort is packed with things to see and do; from visiting Cyprus Medieval Museum at Limassol Castle to admiring the artist-designed sculptures that line Prokymea Sculpture Park. Meander through Limassol Municipal Gardens to discover the treasures on display at the nearby Archaeological Museum. A must-see sight, especially at sunset, is Aphrodite's Rock where the goddess Aphrodite is rumoured to have emerged from the waves. Spend a few hours soaking up the sun at the 8km-long Lady's Mile Beach to the east of the resort. Azamara proudly features two specialty restaurants, Prime C and Aqualina*. Aqualina offers fabulous Mediterranean cuisine. Prime C is Azamara's classic wood-panelled steakhouse with stunning views and lush decor. The Wine Cellar will delight your palate with an 8,000-bottle collection of limited production, small label and rare vintage wines. The knowledgeable sommeliers will help you pick the perfect wines for your evening meal. The Patio is The Pool Grill transformed once the sun goes down, for an intimate dinner setting under the stars. Discoveries Restaurant is the main dining room on the ship. It offers an elegant yet lively dining scene with a rotating menu inspired by the destinations on your voyage. It is available to all passengers. For casual dining and snacks there is Windows Café, Pool Grill, Mosaic Café, and the Living Room, where you can enjoy afternoon tapas. 24-hour room service is available.

*Specialty dining is complimentary for suite guests. For others, there is a $30 per person cover. Reservations are highly recommended.
