Step ashore this morning in Esztergom, a rural town north-west of Budapest. Famous for its massive 18th-century Basilica of Esztergom; Hungary's biggest church and tallest building and easy accessible via a 15-minute city train ride. Stroll through Esztergom's intricate streets lined with traditional eateries and hidden churches and then stop by Szechenyi Square to admire the Baroque architecture and amazing fountains. Later in the day; you'll arrive in Budapest which is like two cities in one - hilly Buda sits to the west of the river with its 18th-century castle and Fisherman’s Bastion, while Pest is to the east and home to the world’s grandest parliament buildings. Discover the famous thermal baths including Ottoman-era Rudas and the open-air canary-yellow Szechenyi; quirky ruin bars housed in derelict, open-air buildings; or go for a drink at Szimpla Kert complete with seats in a cut-open cars and graffiti-covered walls.

Engelhartszell sits on the Danube River in the Scharding district of Upper Austria. This market town has a population of approximately 1,000 residents, was founded in 1293 by the famous Bishop Wernhard von Prabach, and boasts a rich culture and history. It is home to Austria's only Trappist monastery - the former Cistercian Abbey of Engelszell - which now houses a permanent exhibition about the monks' life and work, a Trappist brewery, and a shop selling the monks' homemade brews and cheeses. Step back in time as you explore the Rococo-style Abbey Church with artworks by Bartolomeo Altomonte and Joseph Deutschmann; the Baroque-style Parish Church, the imperial Toll Gate, the Energie AG culture centre, and the Blacksmith Museum with its 400-year-old black smithy.
