The Royal Caribbean fleet welcomed Rhapsody of the Seas in May 1997. This Vision Class ship underwent a facelift in March 2012 introducing three new restaurants, a bar, and a nursery, along with updated staterooms and SMART technology throughout. Light floods into the ship through more than two acres of skylights, glass canopies, and floor-to-ceiling windows, but there's also an amazing six-deck high glass Centrum reaching skywards. With 11 decks of bars, activities, staterooms, restaurants and entertainment venues, this fun-packed ship has something for everyone.
Days at sea are your chance to enjoy the highlights of Rhapsody of the Seas. Feeling active? Today, the palace remains a central part of Split's heritage after its transformation into a variety of houses, flats, churches, and chapels. Stroll through the centre to admire the towering Cathedral of Saint Domnius with its 13th-century oak doors that tell the story of Christ. Athens — Greece's capital city — was the birthplace of democracy and western civilisation. The city features numerous 5th-century landmarks including the former temple of Parthenon and the Acropolis, an ancient citadel that sits on a hilltop overlooking the Plaka district. The historic Plaka neighbourhood is one of the oldest in the world and features winding streets lined with family-run bars and restaurants.

Hop on the tender boat ashore, where the cable car will whisk you up to the cliff-top village of Thira with its quaint streets filled with restaurants, bars, and shops. Pay a visit to the cave houses at the beautiful village of Oia before heading down the steps to Amoudi Bay to feast on fresh seafood. Taste the unique beers at the Donkey Brewery close to the black pebbled sands of Kamari Beach. Explore the island's history at the Akrotiri archaeological site or admire the dramatic coastline by catamaran.
