Day 1: Fly UK – Mumbai
Arrive in Mumbai where you will embark on board Silver Spirit and set sail for Goa.
Day 2: Mormugao (Goa), India
Mormugao can be found in the sunshine state of Goa. Its historic fort is worth a visit, then travel north of the port to experience Goa’s natural riches: stunning beaches, fertile farmland, thick forest, lush river valleys and acres of peaceful coconut groves. Visit a spice plantation, ride an elephant and marvel at beautiful waterfalls. Goa’s coast enjoys miles of blissful, palm-fringed beaches, where you can lie back, relax and listen to the gentle sound of the lapping azure water.
Day 3: New Mangalore, India
With its tight winding streets, and its stunning traditional architecture New Mangalore will leave you mesmerised from the start. Take a trip through this traditional city and wonder in the ancient architecture or visit the magnificent Kudroli Gokarnath Temple, one of the largest in the area and the Thousand Pillars Jain Temple which has been standing for more then 560 years.
Day 4-5: Cochin, India
Cochin, also known as Kochi, is situated in India’s south west coastal state of Kerala. The city is a mix of cultures and influences: you will find giant fishing nets, ancient mosques, Portuguese style homes, and the crumbling remains of the British Raj. Visit Kerala Kathakali Centre to experience traditional masked Kathakali dance shows or pay homage to the mother goddess, Shakti Devi, at the famous Chottanikkara Devi Temple. Explore the beautiful lake of Vembavad, where you’ll find a stunning mix of tropical vegetation and traditional rural life.
Day 6-7: Colombo, Sri Lanka
Once seen as the gateway to Sri Lanka, Colombo, with its growing diversity and stunning beaches, is now a popular tourist destination. Take a train ride along the coast to Mount Lavinia, then spend the afternoon relaxing on a stunning golden beach. Or explore the Talangama Wetland, a haven for nature lovers. Enjoy lush scenery and watch a cricket match at the beautiful seafront park of Galle Face Green, then enjoy a stylish afternoon tea at the historic Galle Face Hotel, after admiring the exquisite hand carved doors at its entrance.
Day 11-14: Yangon, Myanmar
Formerly known as Rangoon, Yangon was the capital of Myanmar until 2006 and is the country's largest city. The skyline combines modern glass skyscrapers with glittering gold pagodas. This vibrant city is full of spectacular sights including the impressive Shwedagon Paya and the Sule and Botatung pagodas. Yangon is also a nature lover’s paradise; there are stunning lakes, verdant parks and tropical trees waiting to be explored in all corners of the city.
Day 16: Phuket, Thailand
The ship drops anchor today on the island of Phuket. Be sure to head to the picturesque Patong Beach along the western coast — perhaps the most popular attraction. Take a short drive and see the famous Simon Cabaret show with its full ladyboy cast. For gorgeous scenic views over the island visit the Big Buddha statue or watch the sunset from Promthep Cape. Take a trip through the historical Old Phuket Town with its various cafes, restaurants, museums, shrines and temples. A visit to 19th-century Wat Chalong Temple is a truly magical experience.
Day 18: Kuala Lumpur (Port Klang), Malaysia
Port Kelang is gateway to the Malaysian capital of Kuala Lumpur. The city is renowned for its modern skyline dominated by the 452-metre high Petronas Twin Towers and also the 421-metre high Menara KL Tower – both offer city-wide views from their observation decks. Visit the Batu Caves guarded by the statue of Hindu deity Lord Murugan; climb the 272 steps up to the limestone caves filled with temples and shrines. Find high-end malls, fashion boutiques, and Jalan Alor street food market lining the bustling streets of Bukit Bintang. Kuala Lumpur's British colonial past comes to life at Sultan Abdul Samad Building and Royal Selangor Club on Dataran Merdeka Square. Escape to the tranquil surroundings of Kuala Lumpur Bird Park or enjoy the 7000 artefacts on display at Islamic Arts Museum Malaysia.
Day 19: Fly Singapore - UK
Disembark in Singapore and transfer to the airport for your return flight back to the UK.
