Overview Itinerary
The Ship
A cruise with Cunard evokes imagery like no other, with a deep maritime history and reputation that cannot be matched to provide you with an ocean voyage not to be missed. Queen Mary 2 is the flagship of the fleet, launched in 2004 by Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II; she will offer you impeccable White Star Service in a traditional yet very contemporary environment. Based out of Southampton she is most famous for her traditional transatlantic voyages to New York. This is nautical history at its best on one of the most romanticised voyages at sea. It’s time to immerse yourself in what it truly means to cruise. White Star Service can be seen throughout, with each member of the ship trained to provide you with impeccable service and a standard by which all others are judged. Queen Mary 2 provides you with some of the largest spaces at sea with high quality décor, mixed in with some exciting modern facilities all designed with you in mind. Sit back and relax and let Cunard look after you.

Food
The Britannia Restaurant is the main dining room for guests on Queen Mary 2, providing you an exquisite menu with an impeccable level of service. The Britannia Restaurant offers you the choice to dine traditionally, with either an early or late seating as well as the more contemporary anytime dining to allow you the flexibility to dine at your leisure. For those guests residing in a Queen or Princess level stateroom reserved especially are the Princess Grill and Queens Grill Restaurants, presenting anytime dining with unsurpassed quality with your own personal butler - a truly distinguished and unforgettable experience. When looking to dine outside the traditional options one of the favourite places on ship is the ships Golden like Pub. This is a traditional English country pub with a menu to match, offering the option of bangers and mash or fish and chips as well as other dishes it’s easy to see why this venue this venue is so popular. Todd English is Queen Mary 2's al-la-cart option. Open to all guests, this specially selected menu of the finest ingredients and delicate flavours in an intimate and contemporary environment. Be sure to try the signature dish of Pumpkin Purée Love Letters. Kings court is a more relaxed affair; this casual venue offers guests a multitude of dining options especially in the evening where several themed menus are on offer such as The Carvery and Chef's Galley.

Drink
Queen Mary 2 has a bar or lounge to suit all, if it’s a quiet after dinner cocktail, a refreshing afternoon drink or a celebratory glass of champagne then look no further. The Veuve Clicquot Champagne Bar is a highlight for any voyage on Queen Mary 2, offering guests seven different Veuve Clicquot champagnes accompanied by luxury caviar, whatever the occasion; share and sip or toast and celebrate. Overlooking the bow of the ship is the Commodore Club where you can sit back and relax with your favourite tipple watching the sun as it sets over the horizon; why not try the Martini Mixology or Whisky Tasting classes on offer here. For that relaxing evening the Winter Garden is the place to be. Taking inspiration from London's Kew Gardens this is the lounge where you can sit back and enjoy your thoughts in peace or try a delicious cocktail whilst watching an art auction. Whatever your tastes Queen Mary 2 is sure to wow you time and time again.

Entertainment
Queen Mary 2 is a ship with entertainment aplenty, whilst still offering you a unique range of entertainment that is simply not found on a cruise elsewhere. What other cruise would you be invited to a Black and White Ball or a Buccaneer ball with a cocktail reception whilst in the warm atmosphere of the Queen Ballroom? Relax with some pre dinner drinks and aperitifs in the Chart Room where the seductive sounds of the Jazz band will be playing, or partake in some afternoon tea in the Queen Room with a string quartet in accompaniment.
