A maze of winding canals, you can sail up the Grand Canal to visit the stunning Palazzo Ducale and Basilica di San Marco. See works of arts from Bellini and Titian at Gallerie dell Accademia, then head to Scuola Grande di San Rocco to see the intricate and captivating way Tintoretto depicts Old and New Testament scenes. Day 5: Kotor, Montenegro
Kotor is based on the Adriatic coastline in south-west Montenegro. The old town district is filled with medieval architecture and monuments — as well as one of the narrowest streets in the world! From its Venetian-style gates to its former Austrian prisons, Kotor's past is kept alive for you to explore. Wander around the range of shops, and head to a bar or restaurant at a piazza to admire views of the mountains.
Day 6: Corfu, Greece
The island of Corfu sits off the north coast of Greece in the Ionian Sea. Surrounded by rugged mountains and lined with golden beach resorts, it's a cosmopolitan island with a strong, traditional character. Corfu has long been a hugely popular holiday destination due to its laid-back atmosphere, fun beaches, fantastic climate, and welcoming villages. Its old town is filled with Byzantine churches, Venetian fortresses and French-style houses. Spend time relaxing on the sand or enjoying water sports in the sea, before sampling the island's delicious cuisine — often a tasty blend of Greek and Italian — at a beachfront restaurant. The waterfront is lined with bars and cafes, and there are plenty of craft markets for buying souvenirs.
Day 7: Santorini, Greece
Curving around a majestic caldera, Santorini is one of the prettiest of the Greek Isles. Hop on the tender boat ashore, where the cable car will whisk you up to the cliff-top village of Thira with its quaint streets filled with restaurants, bars, and shops. Pay a visit to the cave houses at the beautiful village of Oia before heading down the steps to Amoudi Bay to feast on fresh seafood. Taste the unique beers at the Donkey Brewery close to the black pebbled sands of Kamari Beach. Explore the island's history at the Akrotiri archaeological site or admire the dramatic coastline by catamaran.
Day 8: Mykonos, Greece
Mykonos sits in the Aegean Sea with traditional white-washed houses and bright-blue waters. Wander the twisting narrow lanes, which were originally designed to confuse pirate invaders, and discover quaint shops and boutiques. Visit stylish beach bars, modern restaurants and see the iconic 16th-century Venetian windmills which overlook Mykonos town — the island's capital.
Day 9: Argostoli, Greece
Argostoli is Kefalonia's main port town and boasts a beautiful natural harbour. Stroll around the town centre and discover plentiful shops, cafes, bars and restaurants around Plateia Valianou and along Lithostroto main street. Pay a visit to the Museum of Archaeology and the Cultural Museum. Head to Kampanas Square and enjoy breath-taking views of the town and the beautiful Koutavos Lagoon. Keep your eyes peeled for the wild loggerhead turtles each morning in Argostoli Bay. Walk across the De Bosset Bridge and enjoy the stunning views. Watch the sea flow inland and disappears into sinkholes at the Katavothres. Soak up the sun on nearby Fenari beach and discover the picturesque St Theodore lighthouse.
Day 10: Dubrovnik, Croatia
The Croatian city of Dubrovnik sits on the country's southern coast on the Adriatic Sea. Explore the city centre — an UNESCO World Heritage site — with its 17th-century Cathedral of the Assumption and Rector's Palace, before walking around the ancient city walls. Admire the views as you ride the cable car to Mt Srd or visit one of the city's museums. Relax in the sunshine on Banje Beach; enjoy a boat trip to the nearby islands of Lokrum and Elafati; and view the city from the water on a kayaking trip or take a snorkelling tour.
Day 11: Venice, Italy to UK
After check out make your way to the airport for your return flight back to the UK.
