Founded by legendary adventurer Greg Mortimer more than 30 years ago, our expert Expedition Teams have been sharing their knowledge and understanding of some of the most remote and unspoiled destinations on our planet ever since.

Discover the ships that define this cruise line - each offering its own blend of style, comfort, and adventure at sea.

For curious travellers who want to get closer to the planet’s wildest places, AE Expeditions offers adventure-led voyages with discovery at their heart. Expect extraordinary landscapes, fascinating wildlife, and the chance to experience remote destinations beyond the usual holiday hotspots.

Explore remarkable corners of the world, from polar wildernesses to far-flung coastlines, with itineraries designed around discovery rather than simply ticking off ports.

Wildlife encounters and dramatic scenery take centre stage, giving you opportunities to experience the natural world in a way that’s difficult to replicate on a traditional cruise.

Expedition travel is about more than what you see. Expert-led activities and destination insights help bring the landscapes, wildlife, and environments around you to life.

Best suited to travellers who value meaningful experiences, remote destinations, and a little unpredictability over resort-style facilities and conventional cruising.
