Cruise into Vega De Terron and explore at your own pace. Take a leisurely stroll through this charming settlement and gaze at the fascinating waterways. Located in the Spanish region known as Castilla y Leon, Salamanca is famous for its culture and lively atmosphere. Salamanca is one of Spain’s most beautiful cities due to its intricate architecture. In the heart of the city visit Plaza Mayor; a popular square lined with authentic restaurants, ice cream parlours and souvenir shops. For culture, St Stephen’s Convent and the Old Cathedral will take your breath away; they both boast stunning gothic structures and elaborate stained glass. Climb up the towers of Ieronimus Cathedral and listen to the bells ringing as you discover the picturesque city views.

Pocinho > Regua
Pocinho is a picturesque village in northern Portugal with a peaceful atmosphere. From here you can explore the Coa Valley prehistoric rock-art site, where you can marvel at wall paintings that are up to 20,000 year’s old. The Museu da Fundacao do Coa and local churches are also worth a visit, while Pocinho’s quaint buildings and nearby rural footpaths and fields make it an idyllic place to enjoy a countryside walk.

Regua, Portugal
This northern Portuguese town is drenched with sunshine. In the heart of Porto country, local wine lodges offer tours of their cellars where the vineyards roll on for miles. You won’t be disappointed if you make the effort to climb Miradouro de S Leonardo em Galafura: it offers the most stunning views of the Duoro Valley and surrounding mountains. If you’re after adrenaline, take a bike ride through the mountain trails and admire the wildlife.

Emerald Radiance
Overview
Emerald Radiance joined the Emerald Waterways fleet in 2017. This custom-built ship sets sail with a maximum of 112 guests onboard to explore the vineyards and wine-producing villages alongside Portugal's River Douro. Life onboard is intimate and relaxed, equally matched by an impressive 1:3 crew to guest ratio, stylish guest accommodation, and tasty culinary experiences. The Sun Deck is the hub of the ship and lets you make the most of the balmy Portuguese climate. Relax in the sunshine on a deck chair or take a dip in the heated Serenity Pool. Soak up the ever-changing riverside views with a few laps of the walking track or sink a few balls at the golf putting green. Keep trim with a workout in the fitness centre or pamper yourself with a new hairdo at the hairdressers. The ship docks at a variety of culturally-rich and enigmatic ports which you can explore on an included excursion. The 56 suites and staterooms are set across three beautifully-appointed decks - the Horizon Deck has the Emerald Panorama Balcony Suites, Emerald Riverview Suites and the Owner's One-bedroom Suite; Vista Deck features the Emerald Panorama Balcony Suites; and the Riviera Deck offers the Emerald Staterooms.
